"I got a call from home" said Daw and we all turned to her with solemn looks.

"What did dad say?" asked Kanak and I leaned onto the wall, waiting for the news. A few days ago, Daw's dad called and told her terrific news of her fiancé that we had no idea existed, even though she did. She told us that today morning and now we were all at her room, waiting for something new to happen.

"He said nothing on that topic. My brothers are returning home from their works abroad so I must be in HK during that time. That is about it"

The girls exchanged worried looks. We loved Daw and we knew she was nowhere near happy with this decision of her family's.

"It will be fine, darling. Keep your calm" said Asteria and Daw simply nodded, going back to her slumped position.

"Ah which reminds me, will you be with us tonight Indah?" Kanak asked me and I shook my head a no.

"I am really sorry but I have to train. The track meet is a day away and I am not exactly in shape for it" I told them and they nodded, before going back to their discussions.

It has been a week or so since Kirun and I have been running around the tracks at night. It was a night thing, then it became every night thing and now, it is our thing. Well, that was how he explained it to me anyway. So, every night, Kirun and I go for a few laps before we head to the bleachers where we spent hours, simply doing nothing before heading back to our rooms to call it a day. Sometimes, we met in the mornings for runs.

I got up and turned to the girls with a smile.

"Okay guys, I have to go. Assignments and things overdue" I told them and they nodded. Ayaka got up and followed me out with her things after saying goodbye to the girls.

"How's things with K?" she asked me and I raised an eyebrow at her as we walked towards my room.

"Good" I told her and she let out a small smirk.

"Well, do tell me if you plan on going out with him" she told me and I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Whatever do you mean?" I said and she let out a small laugh before patting my shoulder. By now, we were in front of her room.

"He is a nice person. Give him a chance" she told me and I smiled at her.

"Thank You Ayaka" I told her and she returned a tight smile.

I walked back to my room to finish my long due work. Ah sad life.

I couldn't finish my work. I kept thinking what Ayaka had told me, to give Kirun a chance. I mean do I even like him? Sure I like his scent, the warmth in his arms and his kisses on my forehead, cheeks and lips but that doesn't mean I like the guy, does it?

I placed my laptop on my lap and stared at the blank google page. I guess this is it. I inhaled a deep breath and began typing. Soon I got a million search results for it and I frowned. How does this work anyway? I clicked on the first link that google provided and read through cosmopolitan.
