I walked beside Daw as she browsed the flowers, picking them and examining them.

"Do you think this is nice?"

I turned to her and nodded, absentmindedly. My mind was a plethora of thoughts that made no logical sense.

"INDAH!" I turned to her and she sighed deeply. Placing the flower down, she put her hands on my shoulders.

"I know you are stressed over what happened yesterday. But you need to let it go. At least for now" she said and I shrugged.

"I am not stressed over it"

"And dinosaurs are real"

"Oh shut up" I chuckled, hitting her arm.

"That's more like it. Now lets chose the flowers before the monks arrive"

We browsed past the flowers before coming to a stop by the white flowers. We bought 5 of them and paid before rushing to the temple where the other girls were waiting.

"Hey" Asty smiled at us.

"Where is Ayaka?" I asked, looking around for the Japanese girl.

"Oh she went to get something" replied Kanak, taking the flowers from us.

"The monks are here" we turned to the left and realized that indeed, they were here. It has been two years and this is the third year that we have been doing this. Daw is a Thai and this is one of the things she does. And what she does is what we all do, period. She had well established it when we first met.

We did the Waii and gave the monks the food we bought for them as well as the flowers as a merit before they blessed us and walked away. I smiled when I realized it was indeed a blessing.

"Shall we go back to the campus?" questioned Kanak and I shrugged, turning to the girls.

"If we go now, we would be drenched in water before we say hi" replied Asteria and the rest of us nodded.

"So why not?" I turned to Ayaka in surprise.

"You are asking why not?!"

"Yeah. I mean change is good right? Plus is new year!"

"Songran!"

"Yes. Songran. Lets go?"

I smiled slightly at the attempted of my best friends to make me forget things. But you can't forget someone who was your first kiss right?

Yes, he was my first kiss. I don't even know if it was a kiss because it was hella lot awkward. Very Awkward. Especially considering I was busy making murderous plans in my mind at that very moment.

"INDAH!"

I turned to Daw and grinned sheepishly.

"I am so sorry. I was thinking" I replied and the other 4 glared at me.

"About food" I added quickly and they grinned.

What? He was food. For me- I mean my dogs.

"Lets go"

The campus was silent. Not usual IUST campus.
