Apart from the fact that Indah refuses to let me be near her, everything seems well in my life.
Dad and Krys had returned back to their daily lives and the boys and I were getting ready for the track meet due in two weeks. We were, of course, in the basketball team. We haven't lost a match since freshman year. So now, here we were at the court training. The court was the East Campus court since most of the players were in this campus. It was after 8pm and the only thing that lit up the court were the Bamboo Tiki Torches around the campus.
"Why can't we train in the gym like normal people?!" whined Ahren, gulping down a bottle of water.
"That is because the captain here-" Aqua threw his towel at me. "-wanted to bathe in the moonlight"
The boys erupted into laughter and I cursed at them.
"Have mercy on the heartbroken guy" said Carwayn and I glared at him. He was making things worse.
They took their seats around me and I sighed deeply.
"What is it?"
"What exactly occurred between the two of you?" asked Kwan and I shrugged, drinking water.
"Dude, tell us. We are family remember?" said Ahren. I placed the water bottle down and heaved a sigh.
"I know we are family. And I also know you all have my back. And I also know that you guys know me better than anyone. With that being said, I hope you'd know that one girl that doesn't reciprocate my feelings will not bring me down to death bed." I said and Carwayn chuckled lowly. I looked towards him and he shook his head at me.
"Tell us the truth Kirun. How long have you liked her?" he asked me and I rolled my eyes.
"Recently" I muttered and he shook his head.
"Don't lie. When you lie, we know" said Kwan and Aqua and Ahren backed him up. Traitors.
"Fine. Since I saw her first year. It was a crush that gradually developed. She is a great girl but I don't love her that much that I would be brought down to death by her rejection! You guys should know that!" I said and they nodded sarcastically. It showed.
"Why the sass!?" I snapped and they gave me the look. One that was like 'See'.
"You getting drunk that day, you snapping around as if you are on your period and you throwing tantrums about how dumb Ace is, are all enough to tell us you are doing so okay" said Aqua and I glared at him.
"That is because I was hurt. I was hurt that the girl that I actually liked for the first time, rejected me because of my good for nothing cousin!" I replied, clenching my fists. The boys chuckled at me in return.
"You are just jealous Kirun. Wanna go out for a drink?" asked Ahren and I nodded gratefully.
"Lets go!"

So finally we were at the bar again. They were casually drinking and flirting. Well, Ahren was. The rest just enjoyed his foolishness with me.
