Sorry guys, I would have uploaded since but school has resumed and I won't be having chance to write like I use to. But no worries, Our book is gradually getting to an end.

I got home really early this morning, I had instructed the nurse to tell Jason that I went home to prepare jasmine for school and that I'll be back as soon as I can with his breakfast.

Getting to the front door while carrying Sleeping Jasmine in my arms I realized I didn't have my house keys with me and it would be stress to go back to the car to take it. My phone is in my hand so I decided to call Damien.

He picked up immediately the phone rang.

Someone is awake!

I asked him to help me open the house door and before I knew it, he did.

"Good morning" he greeted me as he carried sleeping Jasmine from my arms.

"Morning." I answered not knowing what else to say.

I went straight to the Our bedroom while Damien took Jasmine to sleep in her room.

When he came back to the room, I thought to let him know on the update with Jason.

"Jasmine has not had enough sleep so you can go to work, I'll take her to school myself."

"Okay.."

"And you shouldn't worry about coming to the hospital after work, Jason will be discharged today so you can come home straight."

"I'm not going to work today." he said.

I turned and asked why?

"I want to spend time with you and the kids."

"That's good." I said with a small smile. "Lucy is in town and we're going to meet up so I already called your sister Kemi to come over to the hospital and help me look after Jason while I'm not around." Lucy was a very close friend of mine, we use to work in the same office but after she got married she moved to Port Harcourt.

"That's good."

"Yea."

"Juliet, I'm sorry about yesterday. Jason is my son too and I care for him."

I walked to him and circled my hands around his neck.

"I'm sorry too. All the things I said, I didn't mean it. I'm sorry if I hurt you with the words of my mouth. I really wanted to hold back but my emotions are just overwhelming."

"I understand, I'm glad you did. At least I know you hold no grudge against me." he said with a smirk.

"Thanks. I just love you too much and sometimes it makes me scared, it makes me feel inferior"

He circled his hands around my waist and said;

"I love you more Jules. Just know that I'll never hurt you intentionally and by the grace of God that mistake will never happen again. I love you and our kids and I can't bear to loose y'all for anything in the world."

"I'll put that in mind." I said smiling at him.

Just then, we sealed it all with a kiss.

I was seated at the cafe, waiting for Lucy to arrive when I started reminiscing about yesterday.

After I asked Damien to leave, I felt stressed and I knew that the pharmacy would refuse to sell drugs for me unless it's a prescription so I decided to see a doctor.

Talking to the doctor, I realized I had more complains than stress. He asked me a few questions and concluded I go for a pregnancy test before any other thing. At first, it sounded somehow, if I was pregnant I would have known, at least my body would have given me a sign but I still went ahead with it and it came out positive.

All I could think was the joy in Damien's face when I will tell him. I couldn't tell him this morning because I wanted it to be a special moment when I do, like a candle light dinner, over a few drinks or even after sex.

Still thinking, someone came and dropped a bag on the table. It's a woman's bag, it must be Lucy but looking up, it wasn't her. It was a tall beautiful dark lady.

"Hum, this table is already taken, I'm waiting for a friend. You could use another table." I said to her politely.

Even with my warning, she sat down and smiled.

"It's you I came to see dear. I'm Ada."

Oh! The bitch!

What does she want??

"The name does ring a bell." I said, my smiling and polite face gone. This is the bitch who my husband slept with, no need to be very civil with her.

"Glad it does."

"What do you want?? Don't you think it's unhealthy to follow me around??"

"I've heard so much about you Juliet, and I've only seen you from afar. I came to you today to know who my competition is. And.... "

"From the way you're talking, you already know that my husband" I made sure I emphasized on the my husband so she would know that he's mine. "Told me that something happened between the two of you. And do you know why he told me??" I asked then answered the question my self. "Because I'm his wife and he loves me and our kids a lot and that stupid mistake meant nothing to him. So as a divorcee, you should better do something meaningful with your time to be productive rather than chasing after married men that ain't got your time."

The nerve!

The nerve of her to show her face to me

"I can see you can run your mouth like a tap."

I'm so not replying her again, I'm not in the mood to bicker with a shameless woman. If she continues after this, I'll just stand up and walk away then call Lucy to come meet me somewhere else.

"What Damien and I shared was special, since he tells you everything even the woman he cheated on you with, I bet he hasn't told you that the same woman is carrying his baby." she started rubbing her Tommy and smiling.

I looked at her with a shocked expression and immediately tried to mask it. I can't show her my weakness.

She shook her head.

"He hasn't??" she laughed and made a snide remark "okoro feeling funky. Good day." she said, picked up her bag and walked away.

She called me "Okoro feeling funky." can you imagine.

I continued to stare out of the door, lost in thoughts till Lucy came in.

"See my friend oo.. What's she thinking about??" she asked me as I stood up to hug her lightly.

"Someone just tried to spoil my day. But don't worry, it's all fine." I said and smiled at her. "But really, Lucy I missed you oo. See as marriage is making you finer."

"Madam wash wash, you have started again. But I missed you too. How are my God children Na?"

"They are both fine jor. And mine??"

"They are fine oo. I couldn't bring them here, they have school to attend."

"Nice. I'm so glad to see you."

And that was how we chatted until it was time for Jason to be discharged and I told her I needed to go. We said our goodbyes.

But my mind wasn't settled.

Is she really pregnant for my husband??
