Thanks for the mad love guys, even when I don't update frequently, you still read and comment on "keeping each other." I love y'all.

I was in the office today when Ada called me. Sincerely, I never wanted to take the call but I thought of what if it's important.

"Hello" she said the moment I answered the call.

"Yes what do you want??" I asked her. I'm tired of her trying to blackmail me emotionally with her so called pregnancy.

"Is that the way to talk to the mother of your unborn child??" she asked. There she goes again!

I sighed and rubbed my temple. "Okay, I'm sorry. What's the problem??"

"Damien, I need you." she said weakly.

"Look Ada, I thought we talked about this already. You're not my wife, neither are you my lover or anything. You shouldn't expect anything from me."

"I'm weak" she said with a faint voice. "Very very weak.."

I looked at the time, it was after three in the afternoon. One hour to close of office. I decided to rush to her place to see her, probably she needs a doctor or she needs help.

I packed my things, put the necessary inside my office bag and left.

When I got to her house, she wasn't looking like someone who is sick.

"But you said you are sick" I told her.

"I didn't say sick, I said weak." she said using air quotations to emphasize on the weak while rolling her eyes.

"This is a game to you right??" I asked her. "It's all a game where you get to frustrate the living daylight out of me??" I asked again.

"For crying out loud Damien, you're acting like I forced you into this mess. We had sex, I didn't rape you. It was consensual and what did you expect to be the result anyways??"

"Ada" I called her. "I never even remembered most of the moment you're talking about. And yes! You took advantage of me. Because I was drunk and frustrated at that point. Lanre warned me. He warned me. He told me keeping you around even as a friend will cause more harm than good to me." Lanre is my Elder brother.

"Let's forget about all these problems Damien." she walked closed to me and placed her hand on my shoulder. "You know I've always loved you. We use to be an item and those were the moments I cherished most in my life."

I moved away from her.

"That Ada, was about fourteen to fifteen years ago! Look, I loved you then, no doubt but you concluded that I didn't want to get married and succumbed to your family's pressure of getting married. You hurt me then. We were still dating when I saw your wedding card. Now your marriage has crashed and you're back to torment me. Do you know how I felt?? I don't even know why I agreed to see you that night. That is one of the biggest mistake of my life. "

"That was also the biggest mistake of my life too. I regretted it all, not marrying you. Look Damien, I'm carrying your baby. You're married but I still love you."

"Don't you dare." I said with a raised voice, almost shouting. "for as long as I can remember, Juliet is the best thing that has happened to me. Ever! I can't even trade what we share for anything. What ever happened between us was purely physical and no feelings involved. I've told you before."

"Your words are hurting me"

"I don't fucking care! I'm done. Just give birth to your baby and we will work out some custody. I don't want any business to do with you ever again."
