Dark brown hair collided with strong wind & flew out of tired almond eyes. Twinkling lights faded in the distance, intertwined with darkness that had fallen around the city on the edge of the world. Cold puffs of air mixed with toxic white smoke, a cigarette dangling loosely from pale lips that had been chapped for ages. Not once had the person they belonged to cared for the ruined & dry cracked lips. A tongue darted out once in a while to wet them, but that was purely out of habit, not out of concern in any way.

As his cigarette dangled dangerously from his lips, his legs did the same over the edge of the cliff.

Bump. Ba-dump.

His heels made contact with the steep rocks with every kick. He listened to the crickets, relaxing his mind by drowning into the sound & feeling his body grow numb from the addictive smoke entering his lungs.

"Are you some weirdo?"

The brunette stiffened his body when a voice spoke up that wasn't his own. He glanced down at the stick between his lips and wondered if the effects also included hallucinations. His body relaxed again, the drug now haven taken over his muscles & making them numb to stress and panic.

"Who the fuck smokes weed in the woods at the end of a cliff at fucking 5 am?"

Taehyung finally glanced behind him, noticing a shadow of a boy standing not too far away from him. He grinned lazily & showed the boy his middle finger before mumbling a "fuck off". He once again turned back to the city in the far distance, wondering how long it'd take for the sun to start rising & paint the sky all different hues of colors. He'd love to paint the scenario one day, but painting & creativity weren't his strongest points at the moment, especially when his mind & body were filled with the scent of weed.

He heard the sound of footsteps near him until a body plopped down beside him. Beat up old vans appeared beside his own muddy all stars & started swinging alongside his own rhythm.

"Aren't you wondering why I'm here at 5 am?", the boy asked, Taehyung still hadn't taken a look at him. The brunette shrugged & heard the boy next to him sigh. "I guess you're too drugged out for normal human reactions by now".

Taehyung rolled his eyes and stumped out his cig against one of the rocks. He glanced sideways and took up the rough lines of the other's body structure. Fairly small but with some evident muscles. Sharp jawline though a bit chubby looking & messed up hair that seemed to have been neatly styled before.

"Your hair is fucking grey. Don't talk to me grandpa", Taehyung grunted before diverting his gaze again.

He felt a stare landing on his complexion and knew the other was looking at him too.

"I'm the fine age of 21, thank you very much. You don't seem that much older-"

"Did I fucking ask? And I'm still 20 until proven otherwise".

The other boy chuckled at this.

"You're feisty"

"And you're a creep".

The dark haired boy bit his lip to prevent more chuckles from coming out and swayed his legs around, "I'm Jimin by the way".

"Didn't ask that either", Taehyung replied, his voice a bit slow & relaxed.

"It would be polite to introduce yourself in this situation".

The brunette patted his pockets in search of another cig but sighed in annoyance as he realized he hadn't brought the rest of them with him.

"I didn't know there was a handbook on meeting strangers in the woods at night when you're high of weed", Taehyung spoke after a while, getting up from his space on the cliff. He dusted off his jeans & gave the stranger one last glance before walking off.

"Hey!", Jimin yelled after him, "Won't you just tell me your name already".

Taehyung grinned & flipped him off with his back still turned to the other. With his middle finger raised high he casually sauntered through the woods, hoping to find his flat in his high state.
