Jimin helped the high schooler stand up, his legs going wobbly due the many beatings he received. Many students merely looked at him before quickly walking further, not wanting to have anything to do with the foreign student.
"Do you live far from here?", the older asked, helping him walk out of the school gates.
"M-my parents can't see me t-this!", Jungkook panicked, glancing at his blood covered clothes. It would only worry his parents even more, and they were already feeling guilty enough since they moved Jungkook to the other side of the world before traveling back to his home country where he couldn't speak the language of. He didn't want them to know he was being bullied because of that exact reason.
Jimin bit his tongue, trying his best not to correct the younger's language in this situation. It would only upset him further and he was sure the highschooler was able to say it right if it wasn't in this situation where he was upset & beat up.
"I can take you to my place, wash your clothes and clean you up? Would you like that?", he asked, giving the other a reassuring smile.
"O-okay", Jungkook shyly smiled back, his mind still not completely trusting the stranger.
Jimin helped him walk to where his apartment was situated, which luckily wasn't too far from the school. The building wasn't too old but also wasn't modern at all. They took the little elevator to the seventh floor where Jimin's apartment was located.
"I have to inform you about something... I have a roommate", Jimin said as he patted around for his keys, "And he can be pretty hyperactive so please don't be too scared of him. He's just really happy all the time".
Jimin found his keys and twisted them in the lock before opening the door to his flat. As soon as he had pushed the door open completely, a person with brown hair was visible in the living room, dancing his heart out to something that looked a lot like Just Dance.
"Are you home already Jiminie? I thought you had work?", the guy yelled out, his eyes still fixed on the television.
"Work?", Jungkook asked, immediately looking up to the person who was holding him. He felt guilt wash over him and Jimin seemed to notice this too. The roommate turned around with a frown once he heard an unknown voice speak up. His eyes met a younger boy in a school uniform that was splattered with blood and dirt.
"It's alright. It's alright", Jimin quickly tried calming the other down, "I'll just call in sick. Don't worry".
"But you work! Don't worry about me", Jungkook protested, already trying to walk out but was stopped by a hand tugging him back by his collar.
"I said I would help you", Jimin spoke, closing the apartment door.
"I do not want help if you lose work because me", Jungkook frowned, stomping his foot to prove his point.
"I'm not losing my job because of you", Jimin said back, "It's not a problem. Seriously".
Jungkook huffed and a pout appeared on his lips before he agreed on Jimin helping him. The boy was dragged to Jimin's bedroom for spare clothes, so he wouldn't be naked while waiting for his uniform to be washed. A white shirt and black shorts where stuffed in his hands before he was pushed into the bathroom to change and wash up.
The other male in the apartment was confused on who this boy was. His mind formed an answer which made his lips form into a smirk. He threw a pillow at Jimin's face as soon as the grey haired male walked back into the living room. The smaller watched the pillow fall on the floor and glared at his roommate named Hoseok.
"What the hell was that for?", he asked, placing his hands on his hips.
"You're such a pervert", Hoseok rolled his eyes, a smirk displayed on his face, "How is old is he even?"
Jimin gasped and got the pillow off the floor before chucking it back at the older. "It's nothing like that you perv! He's just some kid I helped!", he whisper yelled, in case Jungkook was able to hear them from inside the bathroom.
Jimin shot another glare at Hoseok when the bathroom door opened. He dared the older to say something like that again through his eyes before turning to the younger.
"I'll get the first aid kit", he told Jungkook before he made his way into the kitchen.
Jungkook awkwardly stood in the living room, ignoring the other's smirk.
"How old are you?"
The raven haired boy looked up and softly answered, "18 years old".
"What's your name?"
The younger felt intimidated, feeling as if he was being interrogated, "Jungkook".
"How do you know Jimin?"
Said person walked back inside with a little box tucked underneath his arm. He shot Hoseok a glare once he noticed the awkward look on the highschooler's face and his blushing cheeks, "Leave the poor kid alone Hoseok. He doesn't need your interrogation after being beat up".
Hoseok threw his hands into the air and walked out of the room, leaving the two alone.
The oldest of the two sat down on the couch and patted the space beside him. Jungkook dawdled for a moment before sitting himself down next to the grey haired stranger.
"I'm Jimin by the way", the oldest said before getting out some medical stuff, "Sorry for my roommate".
"It's okay", Jungkook smiled shortly, "Sorry for bothering".
"You aren't bothering me", Jimin frowned while he put some bandages on the various wounds on Jungkook's arms and legs, "I chose to help you, and any normal person would've done that".
"People at my school not normal then", Jungkook chuckled, "They always ignore".
Jimin smiled sadly as he lifted up Jungkook's- well his shirt actually- and cringed at the purplish bruises littering the boy's tummy. He also noticed that the boy was well built for his age though he had the whole innocent cute façade going on.
"Those are going to be there for a while", he sighed, seeing the younger shrug.
"Been used to it for whiles now", he replied, slowly taking Jimin's hand away from his shirt. He felt too exposed for his liking, even though he knew the other was just trying to help him.
"What's your name by the way?", Jimin asked, as they waited for the clothes to be washed, "I didn't ask you yesterday since I thought that would be the first and only time we'd meet".
"Jungkook", the said boy answered, looking down at his lap, "I have question if it's not wrong".
"Yeah, it's alright. What's your question?", Jimin asked, mentally patting himself on the back for understanding what the other meant.
"Yesterday you talked to man. He had green hair. He also helped with chips. Are you friends?"
Jimin looked at the tilted & questioning face of the younger and decided at that specific moment that the highschooler was adorable as hell.
"To be honest, I don't really know him", Jimin replied with a shrug, "I just keep running into him it seems and he never wants to tell me his name".
Jungkook nodded, "I understand. I also ran into him yesterday after leaving store of you. He went into other store where I also was to buy groceries for my mother".
Jimin thought about that and heard the younger mumble a 'he was very not nice' underneath his breath. He frowned at that but remembered how he had seen the green haired male defend Jungkook from his bullies.
