Jungkook smiled down at his filled basket, recounting the things he had in case he'd forgotten something. He walked over to the check out to pay for his stuff and rush home since he had already lost a bit of time. His footsteps halted behind a familiar green haired guy. The taller boy seemed to be in a bit of a panic since he was patting around for something inside of his pockets. The cashier sent the taller an unamused look as if he had already predicted what was bound to happen.

The older man behind the checkout sighed and grabbed the guy's basket, "Look dude-"

Jungkook bit down onto his lip in hesitation before softly tugging on the older's sleeve. The green haired guy turned around and arched an eyebrow at the sight of the familiar highschool student holding onto his hoodie's sleeve.

"I'll pay", the raven haired male mumbled.

The cashier heard this too and tapped his fingers against the till, one hand reached out to accept the boy's money. Jungkook dug into his wallet as he placed his own basket next to the older's. The cashier glanced at it and began scanning the products too, putting them on the same bill as Taehyung's.

"Stop", Taehyung breathed, grabbing his basket and walking back into the shop with it, "I'll just put everything back".

Jungkook frowned and tried stopping the older, "But-"

"I don't need your money okay!?", the tanner male growled before shrugging off the younger's hand that was resting on his arm. He scoffed once he noticed the puppy eyes of the highschool students and walked back into the aisles, putting everything back where he once found it.

Jungkook's posture deflated and he smiled meekly at the still unamused cashier. The older male clicked his tongue when he accepted the boy's money.

"You shouldn't try helping people like that, boy", he spoke wisely, "People like him can't be saved. What do you think he would have done with that stuff? Nothing good would come out of your good deed. Addicts aren't easy to fix".

Jungkook nodded, not really feeling in the mood to reply verbally. He heard slow footsteps pass him and noticed a tall figure leaving the store, trembling hands stuffed in pockets and stomach growling.

Though it was obvious the guy wasn't a goody two shoes and neither did he have the best intentions, Jungkook still couldn't help but feel sorry for him. If he was brave he would run after the other, but Jungkook wasn't brave at all so he merely paid for his groceries and went home.

Taehyung, on the other hand, didn't know what to do. He was hungry, thirsty, needy and too tired to fight against his addicts. If he had accepted the boy's request he would have had his stuff, but at the same time, he would have felt guilty since he knew he would never pay the boy back. That would be like taking advantage of an innocent person and that was something he didn't do anymore.

So he strolled back home, not bothered enough to search for another convenience store. He was done with shopping today and he figured not eating at all was an addict on itself too.

Jimin swept the aisles after closing time, whistling a tune as he glanced at the head lights passing the store. It was already dark outside, another day had passed, and Jimin realized it had been a week since he first met the green haired boy outside on the cliff. And now he seemed to live nearby and was still mysterious, even in daylight.

Jungkook's eyes drooped while fighting against sleep to take him. Rapunzel was singing something about dreams but the boy's head was lulling him to sleep with other dreams. He fell asleep without completing his fourth Disney movie of that night. His plushies hugged him to sleep and sometimes Jungkook wished a person would be next to him to do the same. But for now, he was content with some stuffed animals.

Taehyung laid tossing and turning, ignoring his body's pleas for food as his fingers dug into the cheap mattress. He gritted his teeth, glaring at the ceiling where horrendous sounds were coming from. He knew he loved hearing those noises while watching porn, but when trying to sleep at night, the noises only brought him irritation and completely loneliness.

Why would no one lie beside him and hold him in his sleep? Why was he so fucked up?

Jimin sighed and glanced at his bed side clock. It was three am but he was still wide awake, pondering about life and mostly himself.

He didn't want to flicker on the lights since he knew what would show once the lightbulb would illuminate the room.

He hadn't dared removing the photo's where his ex-girlfriend and him were still happy together, a sort of together they didn't share anymore.

Jimin blamed himself for being so unhuman.

For only wanting romance and nothing more.

The sad only child.

The lonely addict.

The insecure asexual.
