The apartment would have been silent if it wasn't for the obnoxious loud noise of a laughing male and a vaguely familiar song playing in the background. Hoseok had been trying to cheer up his roommate ever since he had seen him enter their shared flat with a mood so grumpy he'd thought he was seeing one of the seven dwarfs.
"You need to swing your arm more Jiminie", he tutted, knowing he was going to win the game if his roommate wasn't even going to try and move his arm.
The wii remote was barely in his grip, his whole body deflated and his mood still at freezing point. Hoseok hadn't asked what had happened. It was just a guess but he was sure it had something to do with his two friends since they were the only ones Jimin occasionally hangs out with.
Jimin finally gave up his effort of trying to dance and instead fell backwards into the couch, letting Hoseok win the game (again). He merely sighed at his second place and threw the wii remote next to him, making it bounce for a bit.
"I don't mean to be rude, but you're looking as if you ate an entire lemon and stuffed it into your ass afterwards", his roommate finally said after not talking about his mood for more than an hour.
"Finally you stopped trying to cheer me up", Jimin spoke up, relieved he could stop trying to appreciate his friend's help.
Hoseok rolled his eyes at this and sat himself next to the other, face scrunching at the feeling of sitting on a wii remote. He got it from underneath his butt and threw it onto the carpet. "So what's it about? You had a fight with Taehyung or Jungkook or something?"
The other male nodded.
"Alright, so what was it about, if I may ask?"
Jimin sighed and crossed his arms, frustration bubbling up again, "It was about something stupid honestly. Something that shouldn't have happened and I realized it was me who started this all. Which sucks because I'm angry with him while I know I should be angry at myself for letting it go this far".
Hoseok scrunched his eyebrows together, a bit confused about what the other just told him. It seemed more like he was rambling to himself rather than to Hoseok. "You're angry at who exactly?"
"Taehyung"
The older nodded in understanding, "And why? Did he do something?"
"It's more about what he didn't do", Jimin mumbled, turning his head to the side as if he was embarrassed.
"Which is..."
"Telling me what I wanted to hear".
Hoseok was still very confused but his next words were cut off by a knocking on the front door. Both males looked at the door, both wondering who it could be.
"Don't tell me-", Jimin started but his words fell silent as he could hear familiar voices coming from behind the door, "Goddamnit". As he muttered curses to himself he walked to the front door, opening it in one confident swing.
He came face to face with his two best friends, both boys awkwardly smiling down at him. Jimin ignored Jungkook for a moment, not really sure why he was here, and turned to the tallest of them all.
"Oh so now you've come to talk. Finally figured out how not to talk bullshit?", the boy scoffed. He crossed his arms, trying to look a bit dominating even though he could see the apology in Taehyung's eyes.
"Jimin please, I really want to explain myself", Taehyung said, not wanting to come to the point of begging and hoping the older would listen to him. When Jimin didn't reply Jungkook stepped in, nudging the older out of the way. "He does really sorry feel hyung".
"Oh, so now you've also sweet talked Jungkook", Jimin frowned, eyes going from the youngest to the taller, "Isn't that great".
Before anything else could be said, Jimin shut the door again, it slamming right into Taehyung's face. Jimin stormed back over to the couch, ignoring the frequent knocking coming from the door.
"I'm not really following", Hoseok decided to speak up ,"But I have my suspicions. Did you guys by any chance kiss last night?"
Jimin's head immediately snapped towards him, eyes big and wide, "How did you know?"
"I didn't. It was just a guess", the older chuckled, mentally patting himself on the back for his way of guessing, "I talked to Taehyung once when he slept over for the first time. He figured out you were asexual and I was joking about you three being boyfriends and he seemed to hint at you guys not being gay. He told me he wasn't gay himself but I have my doubts. It seemed more as if he wasn't sure you were".
"Well, we kissed, so isn't it kind of obvious? I wouldn't kiss boys if I wasn't interested in them", Jimin muttered, eyes now stuck on the carpet, "Sure, we were drunk, but still, it meant something to me. He also took Jungkook's first kiss. You can't just do that for fun".
"Many people sadly do kiss others without meaning it", Hoseok tried to reason, "Maybe he fears you were just playing with him. And Jungkook is quite young, maybe he's scared that he took advantage of him in his drunk state".
"I guess", Jimin frowned, playing with his hands in his lap, "I didn't think about that".
"So, don't you think that you should maybe you let them in", Hoseok asked, a kind of parent like aura emitting from him. He couldn't contain his smile when he saw the younger get up from the couch.
Jimin opened the door, seeing his two best friends sitting on the hallway floor. They both looked surprised at the sudden opening of the door but immediately jumped up from their spot nonetheless. Their own sorrowful eyes met their friend's guilty look, "Let's talk".
