Background: Chong-il grew up in a middle class family, he received good education and never took granted of it. At the age of 10, he moved to Seoul as his parents found better opportunities for the family. One day, his mother and father had a fight and the next day, his mother just disappeared and all she left was her wedding ring and a picture of the family. Nobody knows where she is now or if she even is alive or not. Chong-il remembered when he was younger what his mother and father told him, and that was to make them proud. So Chong-il took dance and vocal lessons. He practiced day and night to perfect them. At 15, he auditioned for YG entertainment but was sadly rejected. He thought he wasn't good enough and practiced twice as hard as before. Now, here he was in DopeHit entertainment.
