The only sounds Richie heard from the others were pure silence as they had arrived to Neibolt. Behind them all of their bikes laid around the streets, looking almost as dead as they were feeling right now. Richie knew that they were scared, heck, he was too. This could be where he may die, though that never usually happened in horror or sci-fi films like this. They all stared at the dark, horrifying house in front of them, begging them to come in as they all held their weapons. They could almost feel the monster that terrorized Derry and killed so many children lurking for them to come into the house.

"Does anyone want a cigarette before we go in there?" Richie asked the others, placing the lit cigarette that he had lit back in his mouth. He inhaled the sickening chemicals that burned his lungs, feeling much more relaxed and warm with the slow, toxic drug.

There was silence for a few seconds before Bev spoke up. "I'll take a smoke if you have more," Her eyes looked at Richie with sincerity as Richie smirked.

Richie placed his cigarette still in his mouth, trying not to let it fall as he pulled out his pack of cigarettes. He opened the package, pulling out a small, white and yellow roll of tobacco and gave it to Bev. "Do you need a lighter?" He asked.

"No, I have my own," Bev replied simply, pulled out her silver lighter from her pockets. It was very pretty, having its own flower design on the metal as she lit the cigarette. She took smoke, staring off into the distance of the house while Richie continued smoking.

The reason why he smoked was simple because he believed that he would use them for when he worked as a voice actor and thought that starting now would make his voice gruffy. Of course like everyone else, Richie had something he hated about his body and that was his mind. He always said to himself that it was probably because he was bullied for his trashmouth talk and his glasses, but like his father usually says "The hardest critic is yourself." Since Eddie had admitted to Richie that his mom jokes hurt the boy, he's been hurting himself inside his head for his own self pity in being such an idiot.

"He-Hey Bev, could I take a smoke from yuh-yours?" Bill asked softly, averting everyone's attention to him.

Bev's cheeks turned slightly pink as she nodded with a shy smile, giving the small cigarette to Bill. Bill let out a deep breath, taking the small thing as he placed it on his lips. He then exhaled just a little before coughing into a fit. Bev giggled, patting Bill on the back as she said. "First time huh?"

"Yeah it i-is," Bill replied, his cheeks burning with embarrassment as he gave the smoking drug back to Bev.

"So," Michael began letting out a sigh as he spoke. "Are we going in or not?"

"Maybe someone should stay behind," Stan began nervously, looking at the others with a hint of fear and concern. "Just in case the cops come or something happens,"

"The cops won't come, Stan," Lucas says. "They all hate and ignore Neibolt like everyone else, why would they come?"

"We don't know what can happen," Will replied sympathetically. "I get it, Stan that you're scared now, but Pennywise will still be in there if we don't do something about it,"
