Widowmaker's POV

I walked through the halls of headquarters, hoping to avoid anyones judging gaze. The fact that I shot Lena must have gotten around and I didn't want any part of what they had to say. I dashed up the stairs and into my room. I ran my fingers through my long ponytail and, for the first time in years, I started crying.

"Why so sad, Amelie?" I gasped and Sombra turned visible on my bed. I smiled and she ran over to me to give me a hug.

"You had me worried. You had Lena worried. Don't do that to us again." I smiled and ran my hand over her shoulder.

"I'll try my best." We let go of each other and sat down on the floor in front of the bed. I was so tired because of the last few days that all I wanted was sleep. Though the universe was against me because there was a knock on the door. Sombra got up and opened to door.

"I thought I heard a French accent talking." A tall black figure stood in the doorway and a wave of emotion ran over me. I got up and ran to hug him. He wrapped his arms around me and squeezed, almost like a parent would.

"I missed you, Reaper. You have no idea how much I missed you." He chuckled and stroked my hair. I then started crying on his shoulder. Sombra gasped and ran hug me from behind and instantly, I felt like I was a part of a family. A really messed up family, but a family nonetheless.

"No one will lay a finger on you again. If they do, they'll answer to me. And I don't care what they rules may be, I don't want to see you hurt."

"And neither does Lena, so I bet she'll bend the rules just a little to keep you safe." I smiled and we all let go of each other. They both waved and walked out of the room. I was left standing in the doorway alone and stood there well after they left.

No one came down the hall towards my room, so I just closed the door and sat down on my bed. Once again, I was the outcast in the organization I was apart of. The door opened a couple hours later and Angela stood in the doorway, a smile on her face.

"Lena's ok. The bullet didn't infect her arm." I smiled and nodded towards the doctor. She walked over to me and picked up one of my arms. I flinched in pain and she looked over my blue skin.

"Whatever she used to possess you went deep into your skin. There's little red marks all over your skin." I looked down and, sure enough, there were at least ten marks along my arm. The marks were symmetrical on my other arm as well.

"Can I see Lena?" She gave me another friendly smile and nodded. We walked out together and she led me down to the medical bay. It was quieter down here than the rest of the agency. Many of the people were celebrating Hana and Lena's success at defeating Eva and getting me back. Though it makes me feel like a damsel in distress.

"She might still be sleeping. So let's be extra quiet, ok?" I nodded and she opened the door quietly. Sure enough, Lena was sleeping on one of the beds in the large room, her bad arm in a sling. I could hear some light snoring coming from her and it made me smile. To know that she was ok made me happier than I had ever been. I couldn't live with myself if I found out that she got severely injured by my hands.

I tiptoed over to the bed and kneeled down next to her. Her chronal accelerator was sitting nearby and she didn't have her typical jacket on. I gently placed a hand on her arm and sighed. Angela stood behind me and was writing something down, most likely about Lena's condition.

"I'm sorry, Lena. I didn't mean for this to happen." I saw her smile and her eyes opened slowly.

"I know that, Amelie. But that doesn't mean I don't love you." I smiled and bent down to kiss her. When we separated, Angela walked over and helped Lena sit upright. Angela gently touched Lena's bandaged arm and she cringed in pain. She looked at me and sighed.
