Annora's POV- Two Weeks later

Mom and I ran out of King's Row towards the aircraft that was sitting cloaked just outside of London. When Mom disappeared, I turned into my wraith form and made my way the the craft. In the three weeks since the accident, I had learned to better control my powers and had also learned a few new tricks.

Mom hopped into the cockpit and started the craft while I straightened out my dress. We were meeting with Mercy and a new, unknown person who was an agent back in the day in Hanamura, Japan. Mom was happy to talk to them after the many years after Overwatch was shut down. I could tell that the recall was the best thing that happened to her.

"Next stop, Hanamura." I sat down on one of the benches and prepared for us to go into the air. I was excited about this mission in particular. All the other missions we'd gone on were in the vicinity of London and King's Row. This is also my first time leaving the country, except for when we had to stop in Ireland for twenty minutes. That didn't count since I didn't leave the craft.

I could see the tips of the tall mountains that bordered between China and Nepal. The Shambali temple could be seen nestled in the mountains. Mom always told stories about the Omnic monks that were inhabiting the area where they couldn't be disturbed.

Then, the beautiful cherry blossoms that blanketed Japan appeared and I knew we were close. I stood up and looked out the window at the scenery down below. Mom always told me stories about her journeys to Japan, either for a mission or just because. She's always been happy when she told me about it, especially about Hanamura.

Mom landed the craft outside of urban Hanamura and I could see Mercy talking with a strange robot figure. He brushed his mechanical fingers over her cheek and I could see her smile and blush at the same time. I looked over at Mom who giggled. Clearly, she knew something about the two of them that I didn't.

"Genji's at it again. We better get out there before he tries to woo her again." I opened the door and the two of us walked out of the craft. Mercy saw us and brushed away the robot's hand. He walked over to Mom and the two hugged. I stood there, waiting to be introduced. When the two separated, Mom turned to me and motioned towards the mysterious figure.

"Annora, meet Genji. Genji, this is my adopted daughter, Annora." I held out my hand and he shook it. It was awesome to finally meet the person who always made an appearance in Mom's Japan stories. I always felt sorry for him because of his brother that left him close to death. And now, after going through the same thing, I could understand his pain.

"It's nice to meet you, Annora. Your mother has told me a lot of good things about you." I smiled and dropped my hand.

"And I always enjoyed hearing about your misadventures from Mom. You always made me laugh." I could hear him laugh and he placed a hand on my shoulder.

"My twins would agree with you. And my ex-wife." I heard Mercy giggle from behind him and Mom tried to keep in her laughs. "You know it's true."

"And where are the twins today?" Mercy asked, placing an arm on Genji's shoulder. At that moment, two teens a couple years younger than I am ran in between us, the boy chasing the girl around with a katana in his hands. Genji sighed and threw his shurikens at the feet of the girl. They both stopped with a little yelp.

"Ryuto, don't chase your sister around with that. It can be dangerous. And River, why didn't you stop him?" They hung their heads and apologized. Ryuto dropped the sword and apologized to his sister and Genji nodded, saying "Thank you." I smiled at the two who looked up and saw me standing there.

"Hello. You must be Annora." River said, bowing towards me. She looked over to her brother, who just waved at me, and smacked his arm. Reluctantly, he bowed and I smiled. I bowed back and they stood up straight. I smiled and held out my hand.
