Evil in Riddles {Tom Riddle} (Wattys 2018)

12|| "Did I tell that you can turn away from me?"

Lord Voldemort.

Tom Riddle thought about it while staring at Serena at the library. If he was Voldemort right now. If he was the Dark Lord. Then, he'll destroy the Dark Lady.

But did he want to?

Of course, not Tom thought. She's way too powerful and important to kill, for now. Tom smirked at the thought as he walked to Serena.

"What do you want?" She suddenly said, annoyed.

With the whole Parkinson business done, she had to have no problems right now.

And then again, Tom Riddle exists to destroy her pitful, yet perfect life.

He suddenly leaned in to her, his lips inches from hers, but Serena only smirked.

"I'm no fangirl, Riddle. So get away from me or else--"

Serena stopped, and everyone gasped. Her eyes widened in shock.

His lips were pressed to hers.

Meanwhile, Tom didn't really plan this, so he was just surprised just as everyone is.

He pulled away, and then the next thing.

She slapped him.

And she disappeared.

Tom just stood there, shock. As he realized that everyone was watching him, he did the next unexpected thing.

He ran.

Alysia stood there, frozen, as everyone else is. Tom Riddle just kissed Serena Gaunt, then ran. Then slowly, everyone else returned to their business, while Alysia went out of the library.

As she was walking, she bumped into someone.

Abraxas Malfoy.

"What are you doing--" He was cut off by Alysia dragging him out of there and into the abandoned classroom. Then, she let him go. He only glared at her.

"I hate you" He said while Alysia's wand was pointed at his throat. 

"What do you want?!" He shouted. Alysia's eyes narrowed and shouted back at him.

"You don't know?! You really don't know??!!"

"Of course I don't you stupid--"

"I loved you!"

Abraxas froze, then looked back at Alysia. She had tears in her eyes. She was crying.

"I didn't know--"

"Of course you didn't! You know why I have to be weird? Just so you can notice me" Alysia said while sobbing.

He lifted her chin to face him, and then.

He kissed her.

When they pulled back, they stared at each other for a while, smiling like crazy.

"I don't know why, but I love you, and I hate you" He said to her. Alysia only laughed.

"I know"

They both laughed, and then they kissed again.

Serena watched her reflection in the Black Lake under the setting Sun. She sighed. She would never get out of Hogwarts with her sanity if Riddle keeps annoying her. She'd swear that she'll be insane by then.

"How's the Dark Lady today?"

She turned suddenly and glared at him. Of course, it had to be Riddle.

"What are you doing here, Riddle?"

"It's Hogwarts property, Gaunt. I have every right to be here"

Serena only scoffed before facing away from him. But, he pulled her arm to face him.

"Did I tell that you can turn away from me?"

"Why would I follow you, anyway?"

He gritted his teeth while Serena only smirked. Until, her smirk disappeared as she realized the time.

I'm such an idiot Serena thought as the light surrounded her.

Tom watched in awe as he saw the bright light surrounding Serena. After a few seconds, his eyes widened.

There stood, Crystal Snow Peverell.

"You--"

"Yes, I am Crystal Snow Peverell, and also Serena Elizabeth Gaunt" Serena interrupted and then looked at him in the eye. She sighed.

"Looks like I have a lot of explaining to you"

OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR SO LONG!!!!!! It's because my phone was broken (Note: This is the 2ND phone that I've broken) and I have to use my laptop to write here again.

Also, this is probably the last chapter (Probably) about the other characters (Partly) because after this, the next chapters are mostly about Serena/Crystal, Tom, and Melody (And partly Serena's sister).
