Crystal sat quietly at the Great Hall while everyone else was chattering. She waited, expecting an announcement. Then, Professor Dumbledore appeared.

"Silence! Now, I have an announcement"

Knew it Crystal thought.

"By the end of this week, we will have the Snow Ball!" Professor Dumbledore said and everyone started talking about it. Crystal just sighed, knowing her irritation of balls and dancing.

"All fifth years and onward are required to the ball. Having a partner is mandatory, and formal wear is allowed. Thank you"

As he left, girls started talking about who they want their partner to be and the boys talked about who to ask at the ball. Someone even started pointing at her, which Crystal only glared at.

She didn't want to go to the damn ball, but as if she had a choice.

She glanced at a certain Slytherin who only nodded at her. She sighed yet again.

Only Merlin knows why she even agreed to owe something from Tom Riddle.

But, then again, she had a perfect plan to escape from it.

---

That glow enveloped her, and she was Serena once again. She also noticed that her hair is no longer dark green, rather, became Slytherin green instead. She sighed. As of now, she will never have the chance to take over if she was easily defeated by Riddle.

For now, she needed a plan.

She slowly walked to the Chamber of Secrets, where she found Tom and the Basilisk.

"Riddle" she sneered. He turned to glare at her.

"Gaunt"

"What are you doing here?"

"Just checking on my dearest basilisk"

"It's not yours, you filthy half-blood"

He seemed angry at this and started strangling her to death. Serena seemed unaffected by this in which Tom tries to tighten his grip on her further.

Not-so-perfect way to kill someone, really.

"Et faciet mori, Riddle. Tibi promitto. Olim me, alioquin interficiemus te, etiam si mortuus sum"

As soon as she said that, her body fell to the ground. Tom looked at her in shock.

She is dead.

---

Everybody was surprised when they heard the news, especially Serena's mother, Elizabeth. The Professors mourned for one of their smartest and most favorite student, Headmaster Dippet included.

Tom Riddle, on the other hand, was only confused. How in the world did she die? Just like that? he thought.

He went to the Great Hall and was shocked at what he saw.

There stood Crystal Snow Peverell, eating in silence.

He then went and dragged her out. As he did so, he pushed her to the wall.

"What are you playing at?" He said. Crystal only looked at him in confusion.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play tricks on me! I know you're Serena, so why did you die like that?"

"Serena? She's dead, so why do you think that I'm her?"

Then suddenly, she kneeled down in pain.

He looked at her in confusion, as she only held onto her head like crazy. Afterwards, she looked at him.

Unlike the snow blue eyes she had, they were black, the darkest black he has ever seen.

"She isn't me, Riddle. Turns out I was possessing her" Serena said then smirked.

"Then, are you really--"

"Dead? No, I am not. You see, Riddle, there are many places in the wizarding world where you can go unnoticed. For example, you can go there when you pretend to be dead"

He only looked at her in shock, and, may he regret it, fear. She was eviler than he himself, more than he ever imagined.

She suddenly stood up, put a glamour on her eyes, then went back to the Great Hall, leaving him with his shock and confusion. Serena only smirked while her back turned on him.

Who knew that pretending to be dead was fun? Especially if you're hiding into the Woods.

There you have it! The 13th Chapter! I only plan on doing 30 Chapters (Not including Epilogue) and then maybe I'll have a preview on the 2nd Book (Like 1 whole chapter and such).

Also, find out what Serena said before she died! If you guessed it first, I will have a dedication for you. Comment here! I also changed a word (rather two) to 'Riddle' so please include it!

Please vote and comment!

Bye!
