14|| The Girl in the Woods*

Serena wandered around the dark forest surrounding her. She smirked. I should have done this a long time ago she thought as she went and entered her Personal Manor.

Knights of Walpurgis she thought. Such uselessness, unless, if counted Abraxas Malfoy, a useful ally for great influence and filthy rich, the others, Pureblooded dimwits, then again, all of them are dimwits, even Riddle she laughed at that thought as she twirled her wand between her fingers.

As she sat down on her throne, she called out.

"Melody? Are you there?"

In split seconds, the said girl appeared, smiling at her.

"Have you missed me, Serena?"

"Oh, shut it"

Melody Emerald Hale was terribly odd, yet too powerful for her liking.

"Oh, please. It's hard to live forever. Especially if you've live since the Founders. Heck, I even knew Morgan le Fay for Merlin's sake" Melody said then pouted, which Serena only frowned at.

"Do you even wished to die?"

"Of course! I would've given you my immortality in a heartbeat! Yes, if you only agree on it"

"Of course! Just imagine all that knowledge--"

"I'm not done yet" Melody said in a serious tone.

"Fine"

"Anyways, I knew everything already, so I'd like to die. But, there are certain things you need to know about" Serena nodded.

"First, you'll be able to see the future. Helpful thing, I tell you. Second, they can't lie to you if you wish to. Like a Veritaserum of sorts. But, there is one thing you have to watch out for. You can't change the future for anytime soon, but you can meddle with the past, and reality" 

"Okay, I accept"

Suddenly, a bright light went out of Melody, then went straight at her. She fell over after that. After a few seconds, she stood up.

Her once black eyes turned Avada Kedavra green, while her hair color deepened. She walked over to Melody who was laid down and smiling sadly.

"Finally, I get to die" she whispered then looked over to Serena, who was in shock. After all this time, never did she know that Melody can speak Parseltongue.

"I see all, Serena. You have to be careful. There will be war" 

Those were Melody Emerald Hale's final words before she died, leaving Serena in utter confusion.

What did she mean by war? Be careful? What did she see there? Serena thought for a while. Later, she mentally slapped herself. Stupid, you have her powers now you dimwit.

She stared back at Melody's dead body. Then, she snapped her fingers. Slowly, her body turned into ashes, disappearing. Suddenly, a tear dropped from Serena, which she hastily wiped away.

I will not show weakness, she is dead, and I can't change that she thought as she slowly returned to her throne.

But, as she sat down, her tears did not stop from falling. While her head was in her hands, she cried for Melody.

She will never forget the Girl in the Woods, for she is her dearest friend. And the one who showed her the truth between Good and Evil.

Finally! I finished the (supposed to be) boring parts! Yes, this is a Filler Chapter.

Also, Melody Hale is Dark, but not necessarily Evil. The story between her and Serena will be showed in the next chapters.

It will also show the following:

One, how she got her powers

Two, who gave them

And three, why she wanted to die.

Also, this is edited because I realized while writing the next chapter that it doesn't fit on this chapter.
