Leelands POV

Josh pulled me along to our first class, smiling like a idiot. He is too adorable for his own good. As we walked into the room, the teacher turned and looked up at us through her glasses. "Could you please explain why both of you are late?" Josh looked at me and let out a loud laugh. I gave him a wide eyed stare, silently begging him to shut up. Our teacher just glared at him and turned back around to the board. Josh pulled me down into the seat beside him and just smiled over at me. I sighed and pulled my notebook out of my bag. Just as I was about to start copying down notes off the board, Josh tapped my arm. I turned to him and mouthed a quick "What?" Josh just smiled at me and passed over a note. He sort of bounced in his seat as he watched me unfold the note. 'You wanna come over and hang out after school? :D' I could barely read it since Josh's handwriting was so messy. I smiled, nodded at him and the biggest grin spread across his face, making his cheeks a bright shade of red. Dear lord, he is so adorable. The rest of the day rushed by and at the end of the day, Josh came barreling over to me, his gangly legs barely keeping up with the rest of his body. "Hi!" This boy will be the death of my eardrums I swear. He cocked his head to the side and pouted. "You okay? Need water, advil, anything?" That little shy smile that was plastered across his face most of the time, spread across his face and he started blushing like mad. I smiled and shook my head. "No, Ramsay. I should be fine." I reached out and ruffled his hair. He pouted and looked down at me. I never noticed how tall he was. "How tall are you." Fuck sakes I'm so awkward. Josh gave me one of those 'where did that come from?' looks and smiled softly. "Only 6'2. What are you, 4'9?" he smirked. I pouted and smacked his arm. "For your information, I am actually 5'6 and just because your a giant, doesn't mean everyone is 2 feet shorter than you." I smiled and pinched his cheek. Josh scowled. "Ow! And I am NOT a giant. It runs in the family." he frown and scuffed at the floor with his shoe. We stood there awkwardly until Josh spoke up. "So, we going back to my house or...?" Do I even want to? Of course I do! This kid is adorable as fuck. I nodded and that giant grin was back on his face. "Ramsay, can I have a piggyback ride?" I batted my eyelashes up at him and Josh sighed. "Fine." Josh got onto one knee in front of me and held his hands out to steady me. "Hop on." I squealed childishly and climbed onto his back. Why hello muscles, how have I not noticed you before? He silently walked down the hall and stairs and into the parking lot. His hands were wrapped around my thighs and I felt, well, safe for once. I pouted as he set me down. He was so warm and it was freezing outside. Josh must've noticed me shivering, because he looked over at me with a concerned look. "You okay, toots?" I giggled and he blushed a little. "Toots? Really, Ramsay?" He blushed more and got into the car. I climbed in beside him and found Josh lighting a cigarette. "You smoke?" I frowned and twiddled my thumbs. He silently took a drag and blew the smoke out through his nose. "Bad habit, I know. I've heard it a thousand times." he sighed and pushed his brown hair back. "I'm not complaining, I just didn't know..anything else I don't know about, Ramsay?" He bit his lip, looked down and mumbled something. I pouted and poked his arm. "What was that Ramsay, didn't quite hear you." I smiled softly. "Heroin, I do heroin.." he sighed and leaned back in his seat, looking exhausted. My jaw dropped and I quickly closed my mouth, not wanting to make him anymore upset. "Oh..." he smiled sadly and glanced at me. "Still wanna come hang out?" How could I say no to him. "Of course I do." I smiled and kissed his cheek gently. That giant happy go lucky grin returned and I knew he was alright again.
