Leeland's POV

Josh stayed asleep for a good two hours until he groaned loudly and rolled off the couch. I couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter as he rolled over and looked up at me through his messy brown hair. "Why didn't you stop me?" he pouted and flicked my leg. "Hey, the floor looks pretty comfortable." I giggled and pulled him back up. His eyes were blood shot and he looked completely exhausted. "You okay Josh?" I whispered softly and brushed his hair back. He smiled weakly and yawned. "I guess so. How long was I out?" Josh rubbed his eyes and got up slowly. "About two hours." His eyes grew wide and he looked at me. "I am so sorry." he bit his lip and looked down at his feet. "It's fine, I didn't wanna go home anyway." I smiled and reached for him. "C'mere, Ramsay." he grinned and sat down in my lap. I groaned and looked up at him. He grinned, cupped my face between his hands, leaned down and kissed me. I was never going to be able to get used to this. His kisses were gentle but aggressive at the same time. Josh wouldn't stop kissing me and only did for a short second to breathe. I gasped as his cold hands slid around my waist, up my back and into my hair. He rested his forehead against mine and stared into my eyes. "You're so beautiful, Lily..." I blushed and buried my face in his neck. Josh slowly stroked my hair and held me close to him. "Wanna stay the night, princess?" I grinned and gripped his shirt. "Of course, Ramsay."

I woke up the next morning in a bed with no one beside me. I sighed and looked around. Josh was standing by the window, staring out it, sipping a cup of coffee. His brown hair was curly and all over the place and his boxers sat low on his hips. "Ramsay?" I whispered and got out of bed. He turned and smiled at me. "Morning, Lily." I grinned and leaned against him. His arms instantly wrapped around me and I felt safe again. "Why're you always so warm?" I felt Josh shrug and I peeked up at him. He had a cigarette balanced between his lips and was shuffling over towards where his lighter was. I pouted and let him go. He sat down in the office chair and reached for me with one hand, lighting his cigarette with the other. When I got close enough he pulled me into his lap and kissed my cheek. He flicked his ashes onto the cement floor and yawned, burying his face in my neck. "I love you, Lily..." I blinked and shook my head a little. Did I just hear that right? "I love you too, Josh.." I smiled and kissed the top of his head gently. "Ready for school, Ramsay?" I tilted his head up and kissed him softly. He grinned and held me close. "I am now."

We got into Josh's car a good 20 minutes later. He tried to tame his unruly hair, but failed miserably. He ended up just pulling a beanie over his head and leaving it at that. I sat in the car, waiting for Josh. I smiled at Josh when he walked out the door, his jeans almost looking like the were painted on. He opened the driver side door and crouched down to get into. "Fuck sakes, why do I have to be so tall?!" he scowled and dropped into his seat, stretching his legs out. I giggled and kissed his cheek. "How tall are you anyway, Ramsay?" he pouted and rubbed his eyes. "Um...6'2 or something? I can't remember." I blinked at him and pouted. "What?" he smiled and went to start the car. "FUCK. My keys are inside, I'll be back." Josh scowled and got out of the car, skipping back inside. Before he even got in the door, he tripped on the front steps, catching himself on the door handle. I giggled and covered my mouth. Josh slammed the front door and I instantly stopped laughing. He walked back out to the car a couple minutes later, seeming more happy. "Josh...?" I hesitantly reached over and rubbed his arm. "You okay..?" he turned his head towards me and I sighed. High. Again. Fuck sakes, Josh.
