I honestly couldn't wait to wake up this morning. Today was my first day at my new school. Vancouver is giant so I just picked the school with the best name. Magee Secondary School is where I attend grade 11. Honestly, NCIS has possibly taken over my life. As I walked downstairs, I noticed my mom sitting at the table, rubbing her temples. "Um, morning..." I tried to be as quiet as I could. Who knew moms could be cranky in the mornings. She silent waved me away with her hand and I grabbed my bag and headed out the door. The door slammed shut and I made my way down the path to the sidewalk. I was startled by a car door slamming next door. The next thing I heard was a radio being turned up. I peeked over the bushes to find a gangly brunette boy hanging out the car window, reaching for something on the ground. "Need some help?!" From the looks of it, I probably scared the shit out of him considering, his torso flew up and he ended up smacking his head. "What is your pro- oh, hi sorry." The boy had crystal clear blue eyes and I'm guessing a tongue piercing since I could hear the faintest lisp in his voice. He reached over and turned down the radio. " I'm sorry about that" I couldn't help but blush as he smiles up at me. "I'm Josh. Josh Ramsay. I live next door if that wasn't already obvious." he continued to smile and he held out his hand. I hesitantly shook it and smiled back. "I'm Leeland. Leeland Williams" he laughed softly and I scowled. "What's so funny?" I pulled my hand away. He just smiled up at me cheekily. "That's a boys name." he grinned and stretched his legs out. He's so childish. "Yea, so?" I pouted. "Nothing, it's cute. Hey, you want a ride to school? Where do you go anyway" Shouls I be accepting a ride from this 'boy', I don't think you could even call him a man yet, that I met not even 10 minutes ago. Hey, why the hell not. It beats walking. "Oh, I go to Magee Secondary School" His eyes lit up. "Me too!" he practically squealed and unlocked the doors. "Come on, hop in. I'll give you the grand your of The 'Couve" I snorted and he looked over at me. "What's so funny?" he pouted as I got into the car. "That's. The. Stupidest. Name. I've. Ever. Heard." I said slowly between breaths, trying to stop laughing. "Maybe I shouldn't be giving you a ride if you're going to be so rude." he smirked and looked over at me. I sighed and bit my lip. "Ready to go?" he asked and looked over at me. I nodded and smiled softly. "ALRIGHT THEN!" he screamed and turned up the radio again. "ONWARDS MY FAIR MAIDEN!" I had a feeling I'd be needing advil by the time the day was over. "Please be quiet.." I sighed and rubbed my temples. Josh blinked and turned down the radio, slowing down to stop at a red light. "Hey, you okay?" I looked up and his big blue eyes were staring at me. I smiled. "Yea, I'm fine. Just a headache." Josh bit his lip and turned his attention back to the road. "Sorry.." he frown and opened the console between the two seats. He dug threw the mess and suddenly handed me a bottle of painkillers and quickly reached back to grab me a coke zero from the back seat. "Here." I smiled weakly as he awkward set them both into my lap. This boy was so adorable. "Thanks,Ramsay." He glanced over at me as he turned the corner into the school parking lot. "Oh, so we're on last name basis now?" I shrugged and poked his shoulder. "I guess so." he smiled and ruffled my hair. "Alright then, Williams. Let's go. Don't want you to be late for your first class, now do we?" Josh smirked and got out of the car. I followed behind him and sighed. This was going to be a very long day.
