Leelands POV

On my way to pick up Josh, I couldn't help but smile the whole way there. He was finally coming home after so long. As I pulled up to the rehab centre, I noticed Josh sitting out front, tears rolling down his cheeks. I rolled down the window and called his name. "Ramsaaaayyyy." His head shot up at my voice and he grinned widely. He instantly got up, grabbed his stuff and ran over to the car. His legs could still barely keep up and I laughed as I got out of the car. He flew at me and hug me tightly. "Holy shit, Leeland I missed you so much." he pulled me closer and planted tiny kisses all over my face. Everytime he pulled away he'd whisper 'I love you'. God, it was good to have him back. "I missed you too, Josh." I grinned and kissed him gently.

Back at home.

Before we even pulled into the driveway, Josh was already asking millions of questions. "Why wasn't anyone there to pick me up? Why was my mom acting so weird? How could she forget about me?" he pouted and crossed his arms. I giggled and ruffled his hair. "You'll find out soon enough." As we got out of the car, I couldn't help but notice Josh look around. Black and gold balloons were tied up everywhere and the front of the house of decorated with a giant banner that read. 'Welcome Home Josh!'. He looked back at me, tears in his eyes. He pulled me close and hugged me so tight I could hardly breathe. "Thank you..." he smiled and pulled me up the front steps. When we walked through the door, Josh's family and friends all jumped out from their hiding spots and screamed "Happy birthday Josh!" He jumped slightly and stumbled back against me, laughing. Tears were now streaming down his cheeks. His mom was first to pull him into a bone crushing hug. "Welcome home, sweetheart. And happy birthday." Josh smiled and wiped his eyes. "Thanks mom." While everyone else began talking, Josh turned to me and grinned. "This is perfect. Thank you so much." he kissed my forehead and stroked my cheek. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist. He looked good. He'd gained some weight so he wasn't as skinny as he used to be and he'd dyed his hair. It was now pitch black which made his eyes stand out more. How did I ever get so lucky? He chuckled. "Done staring?" I blushed and looked down. Was I staring? "It's not my fault that my boyfriend is gorgeous." Now it was Josh's turn to blush. The rest of the night went by in a blur and me and Josh somehow ended up outside. "Your parents made me go to rehab." Josh blinked and looked at me. "Really?" I nodded and looked up at the sky. "I was only there for 3 months." Josh smiled and stroked my hair back. "You're beautiful, Lily..." I grinned and gripped his shirt. "And you're perfect, Mr. Ramsay." he rolled his eyes and I giggled. God, I loved this boy.
