JUNGKOOK'S POV

I sat on the bench outside of school scanning over my timetable and sighing at all the shit lessons I'd have to sit through today. I really didn't want to stay at school but I didn't want to skip and then damage my mums good mood. I saw Jin walking towards me and soon enough he joined me on the bench and I felt better straight away.

"Hey dude" he said overly happy.

"Hey Jin" I sounded unenthusiastic and he noticed.

"Bad mood?" He asked me.

"Nah just gonna have a bad day I just know it." I showed him my classes and he just sighed in acknowledgment.

"I get ya dude. Rough lessons aren't the best butttttt no need to worry because I know exactly how to make your day better."

"And how exactly do you think you can magically turn my day around?"

"It's quite simple really" he placed an arm around my shoulder. "You are gonna do me the pleasure of coming over today. I want you to meet my friends and you never know they could become friends with you too." I raised my eyebrows at his idea but he just smiled at me.

"And what do I do if they don't like me?"

"Oh trust me, they'll like you. If I do then they definitely will." His smile had turned to a beam across his face and I couldn't resist the urge to say yes. Before I could even reply, our conversation became interrupted by the boy that rode me home the other day. I stood up and moved away from him slightly but he chose to ignore me.

"Jin", he said. "I'm not sure that's a good idea for Jungkook to join you after school considering he already has plans with me, right Jungkook?" He turned to me and I found myself at a loss for words. I kept my mouth shut and I saw him widen his eyes at me. I nodded in response and he turned his attention back to Jin.

"I wasn't aware the two of you knew one another, nor was I aware that you were eavesdropping on our conversation." Jin said through gritted teeth. I felt the tension between the two and I couldn't help but feel anxious.

"Tell me Jungkook, if you both are best friends like you seem to be, what's his name?" Jin pointed to the boy next to me and my heart dropped. I didn't want to piss him off but at the same time I genuinely didn't know his name. I looked to him and noticed his hand by the side of him holding the peace sign to me discretely. I racked my brains for an answer to Jins question whilst trying to figure out what the boy was trying to tell me. He looked down at his fingers and then back to me with irritation written all over him. I looked back down to his hand and noticed that it wasn't a peace sign he had pointed to me, it was a letter.

"His names V" I said unsurely and I paused to wait for a reaction from either boy. Jin looked at me surprised but shrugged his shoulders.

"V huh? Interesting." He looked at me in a sort of impressed way and I regained my breathing. Phew.

"Well then I'll leave you boys to it, I shall organise something with you at some other point Jungkook. Goodbye lads." He walked off slowly and glared at V evilly.

I shivered at the facial expression and sat back down in my original place. I zipped my bag open and searched for something to read before lessons started. I felt a pair of eyes staring at me and I nervously looked up.

"Can I help you?" I bravely asked.

"I didn't think you'd get the V thing then but well done." He didn't smile once at me and it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

"I don't want you to talk to Jin again do you hear me?" I couldn't help but smirk at his words. I just couldn't believe what he had said to me.

"No offence but I don't even know you and you expect me to listen to you. I think I'll do what I want to do thanks and that's continue being friends with him." I could hear the agitation in my voice but I didn't care to change my tone. I was pissed. How dare he, a stranger, tell me what to do.

"If you want to live you'll be smart and listen to me. This place is riddled with evil and Jin is only a fraction of hell thats spread across this town." He still had no expression on his face but I made sure I didn't show that it bothered me.

"Okay V, if you expect me to listen to you, you're gonna have to at least properly introduce yourself." I folded my arms across my chest and raised an eyebrow at him. I tilted my head to signal that I was waiting for him and to my surprise he did exactly as I asked.

"It's nice to meet you Jungkook, I'm Taehyung....", he held his hand out to me,"..... don't ever call me V, or rather don't call me V ever again. I am a danger to you and you shouldn't associate yourself with me or anyone else with pale skin for that matter." He paused whilst shaking my hand and dropped it.

"Why pale skin?" I asked.

"No more questions. If you're smart, you'll listen to what I told you, have a good day." He looked me dead in the eyes before turning and walking away from me. Again he had made me scared, and I hated the control he had over me. I watched as he made his way across the front of the school and into the building. He stopped in his tracks as soon as he hit the door and turned back round to face me. He raised his hand in the air and held up 3 fingers. I scrunched my face up at him and just thought he was weird. He lowered the third finger, followed by the second and finally ....

*RINGGGGG*

The school bell echoed across the entire outside area and I rushed to gather my books together and shoved them in my bag. I looked up to see if Taehyung was still there but he had disappeared. He had obviously gone in and made sure he wasn't late. I sprinted to the building as quick as I possibly could and opened the front door to a teacher staring down at me with his arms folded.

"Detention" he glared at me and shook his head in disappointment.

Fucking fabulous.

TAEHYUNG'S POV

Whilst Jungkook scrambled to get his stuff together I ran away from the schools entrance and snuck out of his eye sight. Fuck going to school I needed to call Lexi. I patted myself down in search for my phone and noticed that it was gone. Shit, I must've dropped it whilst walking away from Jungkook.

I peeped through a car window to see if he had gone in yet and I saw that the coast was clear. I crept out of the sea of cars and ran back to the bench that Jin and Jungkook where sat on. There my phone lay, right beside the bench. I quickly picked it up and dialled Lexi's number.

"Taehyung?"

"L-Lexi its worse than we thought. Jin has made himself blend in as a student at Lakeland and he's befriended Jungkook."

"You've got to be fucking kidding me. What do we do?"

"I have no clue. We'll have to ask Jimin, he's the one that knows how to handle the hyungs."

"Are you going into the school today aswell? Because maybe you could keep an eye out for Jungkook."

"There's no point Lex, he doesn't even trust me. He doesn't know me yet. I'm gonna come home, I'll be back soon."

I hung up the phone and placed it back in my pocket. I signed at the realisation of the situation I was in. Jin had already snaked his way into Jungkooks life and I had no idea how to stop it.

I needed Jungkooks trust, I needed his complete and utter faith. Just how I could get it exactly I didn't know but, for now I just needed to get him to know me so that I could protect him.....

..... and all the others they plan to kill.
