Chapter 17

TAEHYUNG'S POV

"We need to go find him" Lexi said whilst running to the door.

"No Lex we can't not until we know he's turned back." I wouldn't lie I was terrified of Jungkook at this point. Watching him metamorphosis infront  of my eyes was the most disturbing scene I had ever watched. I knew that if we went outside now we'd undoubtedly get slaughtered by the raging wolf that was Jungkook.

"I don't care, I can fend for myself and besides we can easily out run him Tae." She swung open the door and in a blink of an eye she disappeared into the forest. I started to panic and eventually decided to go after her. I braced myself and I felt my palms sweating as I bolted it out the door.

LEXI'S POV

I ran as fast as I could to find Jungkook. As right as Tae was I couldn't just leave him out here all alone. I stumbled a few times due to how fast I was running but I continued anyways. After 20 minutes I still hadn't found Jungkook and I was worrying even more. What if he'd gotten into the town and the public had seen him? I came across a sky scraping tree and I had an idea to climb the top of it so I had a better view of the forest. I dug my nails into the bark and I ascended up the tree.

Once I got to the top I looked down and scanned every inch of the forest. I could see everything but I could not seen the one thing I was actually looking for. I became anxious as bad thoughts roamed around in my head about Jungkook but I continued searching. Eventually I led my eyes upon a body that was sprawled on the ground and my heart sank to the bottom of my stomach. Without hesitation I leaped off the tree and sprinted to the place where I saw him. When I reached him he was naked and shaking tremendously. I rushed over to him and placed my hands on his body to stop him from twitching, he was ice cold.

"JUNGKOOK" I shouted trying to get him to respond but he simply led there unresponsive. I moved my face closer to his and stared into his eyes. I held his face in my hands and I shook him vigorously.

"JUNGKOOK WAKE UP" I pleaded. Tears formed in my eyes at the sight of him so helpless and weak. Although I was scared of him, I still wanted to save him. I panicked whilst trying to think of a way to wake him up. I took off my thick scarf and wrapped it around him as best I could in attempts to warm him up. It seemed to work slightly as he made a groaning sound.

"L-Lexi" he whispered and I frantically shook him once again, desperate to keep him moving. I lifted his head and placed it in my lap to keep it off the ground. After 10 minutes, he lifted his head and turned to face me. His eyes were stone cold and his expression was completely blank.

"Jungkook I thought you died" I cried hysterically as I pulled him into a hug. I held him tightly, not letting him go. I stroked the back of his head to comfort him and I felt him melt into my arms.

"You're okay now, I'll stay with you." I said and I slowly separated from him, leaving my arms wrapped around his neck. Without even thinking I pulled him to me again but this time I connected my lips with his. He was too weak to respond but he didn't pull away from me. I stayed in the same position for a second before pulling away from him and watching his face. He stared at me blankly before speaking again.

"W-what was that for?" He asked.

"I-I don't know I-I" I lowered my head in shame before I felt him place his hand underneath my chin and pull my face to his once more. I was shocked at the sudden action but I reacted by moving closer to him and deepening the kiss. It felt so wrong but so right at the same time. I couldn't believe what I was doing to Taehyung at this point but in the moment I couldn't help myself. He wrapped his arms around my waist and closed the gap between us. I felt butterflies bashing around in my stomach when I felt him creeping his hands up my back.
