Chapter 16

"WHAT THE FUCK" I shot up off the sofa and ran for the door. It was all too much for me to comprehend. My mother is a Vampire, how does someone wrap their head around such a thing. As soon as Lexi reminded me of what happened the memories came flooding back to me. I could picture the man hovering over her taking advantage of her and feeding on her flesh. I wanted to throw up at the image planted in my head. Taehyung and Lexi shouted after me but I just couldn't stay in there. They didn't seem like people to me anymore, but rather creatures. I couldn't look them in the eye and I suddenly feared for my life. I rushed out the door but was caught by Taehyung.

"Jungkook you can't run from this" he said calmly.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME! You'll hurt me Taehyung I can't be around you. Never in my life would I believe this but considering the fucking state I saw you in earlier everything points to the truth. Stay away from me and for real this time." I yanked my arms out of his grasp and I felt my adrenaline kick in. Something felt wrong to me. My heart started racing faster and faster and my breath became to quick for me to catch up with.

"There's more you should know Jungkook" he stated. I felt myself burn up even more.

"MORE! HOW COULD THERE POSSIBLY BE MORE TAEHYUNG." I could barely say my words as my anger raged. I was angry for my mum and angry that Lexi took away my memories and deluded my thoughts. My frustration was attacking me and I was livid beyond description.

"Taehyung I think it's happening" Lexi hid behind Taehyung looking like she was panicking. I didn't bother to become confused. Instead I slid my hands through my hair and tugged on it harshly and screamed out of anger.

"LEXI GET INSIDE NOW HE'LL KILL YOU IN AN INSTANT." Taehyung shouted at her and she sprinted into the house as fast as she could. Taehyung turned to me with fear and concern in his eyes and he put his hands forward for protection from me. I had no fucking idea what was going on but I was worried for myself also.

"Jungkook listen to me okay" he said.

"WHAT" I snapped but he remained chilled. He took a step closer to me but he was very slow and careful of where he stood.

"You're about to experience something unexplainable Jungkook but I need you to keep your distance from Lexi and I as you could hurt us or even worse."

"What do you mean" I snarled.

"J-Jungkook", he hesitated," you are transitioning."

"What do you mean transitioning" I spat at him. My whole body was taken over by the sudden urge to kill Taehyung. All I could see was red and Taehyung seemed to be my target to let out my anger. He seemed to notice this as he stood back.

"You're not gonna like this but..... Jungkook you are kinda like us but you are a different kind of immortal. This whole situation has triggered your inner wolf." He paused and waited for my reaction whilst still holding his hands up. I clenched my jaw and stared right at him.

"Don't be fucking ridiculous Taehyung. You tell me all this shit and now you expect me to believe that I'm a fucking wolf." I couldn't breathe at this point. I felt to my knees as my body started twitching suddenly. I yelled out in pain whilst my shoulders crunched and formed an entirely new shape. My legs stretched to longer lengths and my torso snapped in multiple places. My throats ached from the uncontrollable screams that came from me but I couldn't contain the excruciating pain I was experiencing. I looked to Taehyung for help but he was far away, watching everything unfold infront of his eyes. My back snapped one last time and suddenly my pain came to a haunt. Instead of crying, I growled. I looked down and my body had transformed into the shape of a dog so say. I huffed loudly and my eye sight became heightened. Taehyung took a step forward and I turned to him.

"Jungkook if you can hear me you need to stay away. Lexi and I are in danger around you." His voice was very faint in my head but I could clearly hear his words. I considered pouncing on Lexi and ripping her head off but instead I darted away from the house and into the woods. This time when I ran it was very different to the last. The trees were zooming past me and it was if I already knew the forest inside out because I could dodge every tree or other obstacles. I slowed down once when I thought I was far enough and I took time to wrap my brain around things. Vampires and Werewolves are real, and I am one of them currently in my true form. I took a moment to admire my surroundings. Nature seemed double in beauty and the air smelt like heaven to me. I took a few deep breaths and I regained my calmness. I shut my eyes and led on the ground due to the lack of energy I had. The twigs dug deep into my back but I was still comfortable where I was. I led there for a moment before I could feel myself falling asleep. Once I shut my eyes I had no idea what was happening but I had transformed back into myself whilst unconscious. My bare naked, human self.
