TAEHYUNG'S POV
"So what happened then?" I asked Lexi.
"Well I answered the door to him and tried to keep the conversation at a minimum. The whole time I didn't talk to him and when he tried I brushed him off."
"We can't allow his compulsion to break. He needs to be distracted." As I was talking I was accelerating down the darkly lit roads towards my house. It looked like Lexi had to stay at mine for the now.
"Taehyung I have a plan."
"Go on."
"Well.... Jungkook's new to this town and the only 'friend' he has is Jin. I can't do anything otherwise he'd remember everything but maybe you could become friends with him." She seemed so confident in her idea but all I could think of is how it would never work. He hated me, even though he didn't know me well and all I wanted was to show him my true intentions, protecting him.
"He doesn't like me" I said to her.
"Make him like you. Monday after school ride him home or something, make a connection with him, that way we can lure him away from Jin." It wasn't a bad idea, I wasn't going to lie. Jungkook really does need to stay away from Jin otherwise he will be taken by the hyungs and that can't happen.
I parked in front of the house and took my keys out of the ignition and stared off into the dark whilst planning things in my head. Eventually Lexi and I got off my bike but before we could go inside we heard a rustle from a bush behind us.
"Who's there?" Lexi shouted in the direction the sound came from. A long silent pause came and we both stood there ready to protect ourselves. All of a sudden and figure walked out from the bush and smiled evilly at us.... Hoseok.
"Good evening Taehyung" he said, walking to me in a cocky like fashion. His grin sent shivers through me but I maintained my calmness.
"Long time no see" came another voice to my left. I looked and saw another man making his way toward me in my peripheral vision. I was sure it was Namjoon because of the familiar voice.
"What are you doing here?" I finally spoke, keeping my eye on them both.
"We don't have anything for you" Lexi said in defence.
"Oh we aren't here for you" Hoseok said, rubbing his hands together.
"We're here for the boy." Yet another voice came from my right and my heart dropped as I realised who the voice belonged to. My favourite person, Jin.
"Fuck off Jin" I said angrily.
"Oh somebodies being very impolite don't you think Yoongi?" As soon as Jin said that my heart hadn't just dropped, it fully sank to the pit of my stomach. I didn't dare turn around to lay my eyes upon the man I feared most. I noticed Lexi turn but I kept my eyes on Namjoon and Hoseok, hoping she was keeping watch on the others.
"Well Jungkook isn't here if that's who you're on about" I could hear her voice trembling and I wanted to comfort her. I took her hand to show her we'd be okay.
"Oh we know that", Namjoon said," but we want to know where he is."
"How are we meant to know?" I still didn't dare turn to face Yoongi but I made sure I sounded stern.
"Well hopefully a little pain might make you figure it out" Jin said whilst cracking his knuckles. I instantly became wary of all four men and grew the courage to look at Yoongi. He wore a white and black blazer, and his dark hair fell before his piercing eyes. I gulped at the sight of him. It had been 2 years since I'd last seen him and I already could see the memories flooding back to me.
"Please Yoongi you are a level headed man. Please just leave us be, we don't know where he is." I looked at him with pleading eyes and prayed he would spare us. He looked at me for a long time before tilting his head to the side, motioning for the others to leave. They hesitated at first but once he growled at them they made their way out of sight.
"Take this as a warning. We will kill the boy. He is a danger to all vampires that riddle this town and we cannot have that. We came here first, Lakeland is our territory. Feel free to protect him as you please, but just know the consequences will be truly severe. If it weren't for the mother I would of killed him when he was born." He walked forward to Lexi and took a strand of her hair in his hand and started twisting it round his finger.
"Prepare yourselves for our return because it will be sure to end the Jeon pack once and for all. Please be aware though..." he pulled on Lexi's hair making her jolt forward to him and he span her round so she was facing me. She looked beyond petrified but there was nothing I could do, he would snap my neck in a heartbeat if I tried to get her from him.
".... if you join their side, it'll be your heads that I will remove first." He said this whilst whispering into Lexi's ear from behind her. Anger burned up inside of me but all I could do was watch. He ran his fingers down her neck and he was pressed up against her back. It was as if he was seducing her and my blood was boiling.
He slowly walked away and disappeared into the night without saying another word. I grabbed Lexi and pulled her into a tight hug and she burst into tears.
"We're gonna die Taehyung" she couldn't breathe whilst crying into my shoulder. I pulled away and wiped her tears with my hand and attempted to calm her down.
"We won't die, not today. I know exactly what we are going to do."
"And what exactly is that?" She asked, looking up at me with puffy red eyes.
"In order to beat the hyungs we need to wake up Jungkooks inner wolf, no matter how dangerous we think he is." She looked at me with wide eyes obviously not approving the idea.
"Making him a werewolf won't make much difference. All it will do is allow him to protect himself."
"That's not entirely true. There's something you don't know Lex." She furrowed her eyebrows at me and I took a deep breath.
"The hyungs fear Jungkook. That's why they want him dead. That young innocent boy that we believe we need to protect, is the most dangerous creature in this world........
..... Jeon Jungkook is the Alpha Male."
