Chapter 12

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Monday morning had come around once again but this time I refused to get out of bed. I led there with my covers over my head, procrastinating strongly.

"Jungkook come on darling get up" my mums voice echoed into my room once again. She gently knocked on the door but it sounded like she was violently crashing her fists onto it. I threw the covers off of my body and went straight to my draws to find clothes. Thank god I showered last night because I could not be assed to do it now. I threw on the first things I picked out, quickly brushed my teeth and ran downstairs to be greeted by my mother beaming at me.

"I'm not taking you to school today" she said to me folding her arms.

"Mum I need the lift do you know how long it'll take me to walk. It's only ten minutes in the car I'll be late if you don't take me" I slightly raised my voice out of frustration.

"Jungkook no need to get nasty. You won't be walking, that boys outside again." Her smile grew even wider than before as she nodded her head to the door. Sure enough I could see Taehyung getting off his bike and taking his helmet off. As he took it off he shook his hair gracefully and I couldn't help but admire him. After all his is god damn attractive.

"Shit he's coming to knock on the door, do I look okay?" I started panicking and I was puzzled at my reaction. My mum started giggling at me and I could of sworn I heard her tut at me. A loud knock stopped my mum from fixing up my hair and I waited around ten seconds before opening the door. Before I did though I chucked my bag to the side and made my mum go away, you know to look casual and that.

I opened the door and immediately came face to face with Taehyung. He looked me in the eyes and gave me a warning smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, making sure he knew I was still mad at him for being so rude to me.

"Well I decided that because we got off on the wrong foot I wanted to finally allow us to get to know each other. We know both our names so that's a start but I want you to know I'm not the dick you probably think I am, so please let me take you to school." I couldn't exactly say no to that could I?

"Okay Taehyung I'm prepared to keep an open mind." I grabbed my bag and closed the door behind me and followed him to his bike.

"Here take this, I brought an extra for you." He said while passing me a helmet.

"So you must've assumed that I was just gonna say yes to you taking me to school then?" I said to him.

"Well I didn't think you'd say know to me to be honest, and look I was right." He winked at me and started chuckling but I decided to stand my ground.

"Already getting cocky are we. Because of that I think I'll make my own way to school." I placed my hands on my hips and Taehyung simply looked at me blankly.

"Suit ya self" he said and started to ride off. Shit, I didn't think he'd actually leave.

"WAIT" I shouted and I watched his bike come to a stop halfway down my road. He turned to look back at me and lifted his helmet. I ran towards his with my helmet in the my arms and sighed heavily when I reached him.

"Thanks" I said sounding defeated.

"Hmmmm stubborn ey? Maybe this is gonna be more tricky than I thought. I went to reply but before I could he roared the engine and zoomed down the road.

We reached the school and everybody had their eyes on us. I felt so uncomfortable but Taehyung was completely chill.

"Why is everyone staring?" I asked him.

"I don't talk to anyone here, so their probably surprised to see me with someone. Dare I say friend." He looked to me for approval.

"We shall see." I said to him confidently whilst getting off his bike and giving him my helmet.

We walked into school with everyone still watching us but we just ignored them as best we could. We had around 20 minutes before our first class started so we decided to go sit in a quiet area. He took us to a corner where there was no people and we sat on the ground with our backs to the wall.

"So Jungkook I really do wanna be friends with you if you'll give me the chance." He began and I considered his offer.

"But why were you so blunt and horrible to me at first?"

"Like I said many people don't talk to me so I struggle socially. I am trying to improve though but sometimes I can come off rude."

"Ohhhh I see....." I shifted my body so that I was facing him," ..... so Lexi hm ?" I looked at him curiously and to my surprise he sighed at her name.

"I do love her but for some reason my feelings seem to be fading recently."

"Fading?"

"Yeah but I don't know what it is. I think it might be me deciding I want to move on you know." He said.

"Yeah I get you. My ex girlfriend and I broke up because my feelings were going away. Of course the reason why was that I wasn't attracted to girls but I see where you're coming from." I cringed when admitting that I am gay but he didn't even react to it much.

"Oh you like guys?" He asked me.

"Yeah I do but that doesn't define me as a person. That's just part of who I am and people seem to judge it but what can ya do." He suddenly moved closer to me and lowered the tone of his voice as if he was going to whisper, but there was nobody around.

"I would never judge you Jungkook. Besides I kinda like your confidence." He smirked at me and I felt myself shudder. He was absolutely gorgeous, there was no denying that.

The bell rang through the school corridors and Taehyung and I gathered our stuff together and made our way to our classes.

"Where is your first lesson?" He asked me.

"I have Maths" I replied. He sighed a bit and looked at his timetable.

"Looks like I'm walking you to your lesson" he said to me and folded up his timetable. He took the lead down the hall and continued to make conversation with me.

"I'm gonna take you home later so just wait for me by the bench."

"What bench?" I questioned.

"Our bench" he said in a flirtatious way and I started to blush but I covered it over. When we reached my class I stopped before entering.

"I shall see you a bit later then" I said.

"Or sooner, I can't stay away from you for too long" I froze at what he said.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Take it in whatever way you want. Just keep it to yourself and don't let me know." He winked at me before turning to walk down the corridor and out of my sight. I opened the door and stepped inside and walked over to my seat.

"Mr Jeon did you run here?" The teacher asked me.

"No why sir?"

"Son you're bright red."

I just smiled as I knew that my red face was because of him. The boy I thought I hated.
