Chapter 7: Playing Hookie

"You can come in if you want. My mom won't mind." Leo says, opening the door to his house for Charlie.

"Ok." Charlie says, walking into Leo's house nervously. He remembered Leo saying that his parents were homophobic. They went up to Leo's room and Leo started looking through his closet.

"Which shirt?" Leo asks, holding up a plain green t-shirt and a blue shirt. Charlie points at the green one.

"It brings out your eyes." He whispers while laughing. Leo took off Charlie's shirt and put on his green one. Charlie felt nervous being in Leo's room. Was this how Leo felt in my room? I hope not, I'm a little scared of his parents. Charlie thinks to himself.

Leo threw on a pair of black jeans, a hoodie, and a beanie. Charlie smiled at him.

"You look great..." He says to Leo, slowly walking toward him. Leo blushes a little. Charlie gets closer when Leo stops him.

"My parents, remember?" Leo whispers in Charlie's ear. Charlie stops and slowly walks backwards. Leo grabs his phone and heads downstairs, Charlie following right behind him.

"Oh! Hey, Charlie. I haven't seen you in forever." Karen says, seeing the boys come downstairs.

"Hi, Victoria..." Charlie says. Leo and Charlie leave and start walking to the park after telling Leo's mom that they were leaving early.

"We have about 2 hours to do whatever we want." Leo says to Charlie. Charlie laughs and playfully shoves Leo. They both sit down on a nearby bench. Leo rested his head on Charlie's chest, feeling like the luckiest person in the world. Leos phone buzzes.

Instagram: Maya_Bear1267 posted a new pic!

Leo rolls his eyes, but curiosity gets the best of him. He opened Instagram and clicked on Maya's account, which she had failed to block him on. He saw the picture that was posted.

"What, the, fuck." He said. Charlie looked on Leo's phone and laughed. Her picture was of her kissing another girl that he didn't know. It was titled "luv my girl, Macey! ❤"

"Isn't that your ex? The one that called you faggot?" Charlie asks. Leo was so angry at Maya.

When he first met her, she had been so annoying, but she led him on. Then, she cheated on him with multiple guys, and she called him a faggot. Here she was, with her new girlfriend. Leo blocked her on Instagram and turned off his phone.

"Yep, that's her..." Leo says. Charlie pitied Leo and gave him a hug. Seeing his boyfriend like that made him mad, too.

"Its okay. She isn't even that pretty. I love you." Charlie says to Leo, causing him to blush brighter than a cherry and kiss his cheek.

"I love you, too, Charlie." He says. Charlie and Leo decided to skip school. It wasn't a hard choice. They decided that they would go back to Charlie's house and have a "date day".

They waited until after 8 to go to his house. While walking, they were both cautious. If they got caught skipping school, they would be in a shit load of trouble. They soon got to Charlie's house. Leo couldn't believe he was actually skipping school to be with his boyfriend.

"What are you thinking?" Charlie asks Leo, who is just standing in the doorway. Leo comes out of thinking and back to reality.

"Just about what we are going to do while we are here." Leo says, walking into Charlie's house. Charlie followed behind him.

"I have a lot of plans for today..." Charlie says, getting closer to Leo slowly.

"Oh, really. And what would those plans be?" Leo asks, blushing a little. He knew it wasn't going to be... that... But he was curious what it would be.

Charlie gets closer and closer to Leo. Leo can hardly stand there without wanting to just kiss Charlie, but he didn't want to interrupted whatever Charlie had planned. Charlie suddenly jumped at Leo and...
