Charlie's POV:

I can't wait to go back home with Leo, my fiance. I look at Mr. Devries, shaking his head and muttering to himself. Leo wraps his arms around me again and I hug him back.

"I can't believe this is happening!" He says while squeezing me really tight. He really is almost as strong as me. I grunt and he loosens his grip, but doesn't let go. I close my eyes and take in all of the affection he is giving me. The whole court was cheering.

"Wow, my baby brother is getting married before me. Congrats, fag." Says a familiar voice. I open my eyes to see Kyle. He isn't alone though.

"Wait, baby brother!? You said that he was an old friend!" Derrick says. Leo jumps at the sound of Kyle's voice.

"Who let you in here?!" I say to him, standing directly in front of Leo. Kyle snickers at me and walks toward us.

"I swear I had no clue, Leo. He said he was a friend! I'm so sorry..." Derrick says to Leo. Kyle turns quickly toward him to glare at him. I make my move.

"What the fuck, Charlie!?" Kyle says, swinging his fists at me. I dodge his hits. Five years ago I would've never thought I would be winning a fight with my brother. Now it looks like I am winning. The court's guards quickly tried to get to Kyle, but they were taking to long. Leo runs out of the courtroom, but Kyle turns and chases after him.

"No! Stop!" I yell before chasing after them both. Kyle grabs Leo and reaches into his pocket.

"One step closer and I'll shoot him." Kyle says, putting a gun on Leo's side. Leo is shaking and I see his eyes tear up. Mine do, too.

"Why are you doing this? Where the hell did this come from?" I ask Kyle, trying to sound calm. My voice sounds really shaky. Kyle shakes his head and laughs.

"Honestly, I just hate you. I absolutely hate you with all of my fucking heart." He says, pushing the gun further into Leo. The guards finally show up and stop, looking at the firearm.

"Sir, I'm going to need you to put the weapon down." They say calmly. Kyle moves the gun and points it at one of the men, but keeps his grip on Leo's shirt.

"Kyle!?" I hear my mother scream, frightened and sad. Kyle drops the gun and shoves Leo toward me. I reach toward him and pull him into a hug. We both start crying. The guards quickly arrest Kyle and my mom is heart broken. Is this really how my life is going to be?

Leo's POV

I almost got killed. I almost got killed. Again. If this is how living with Charlie is gonna be, I'm re-thinking my decisions. I don't wanna leave the love of my life, but before I met him, I didn't almost get murdered.

"Am I going to have to get used to almost dying when I'm with you, or can that change?" I ask Charlie. He looks toward his brother, struggling with his words. Instead of saying anything, he comes toward me and gives me a hug.

"I'm sorry." Is all he says to me before walking toward his mom. Derrick shows up behind me, rubbing my back. I jump and push his hand away.

"I really am sorry. If I had known,  I-" He starts to say.

"Stop. Just stop. I can't handle you anymore. You just need to leave." I tell him. He looks hurt, but he turns and leaves. I need time to think, so I go the other way. I can't handle all of the noise.

I go outside and breath in the fresh air. There is barely anybody out here. Deciding to go on a walk, I start in a random direction. I have no clue where I'm going, so I just let my feet lead me. Soon enough, I'm back into reality.

"You're Pipsqueak's boyfriend, right?" I hear someone ask. I turn, expecting to see someone I know, but am greeted by a complete stranger. I nod my head and try to continue walking.

"Wait. Why are you back here without him?" The guy asks. I look around, realizing that I'm at The Alley. How could I have not noticed?

"I'm sorry, I must've missed your name. What was it again?" I ask with an attitude.

"Wow, you're a feisty one, just like your boyfriend. That's perfect." He says. Now I'm confused.

"Why is that perfect?" I ask him, feeling a little nervous. There's something weird about this guy.

"How would you like to be a fighter? You'd get your share of the money made, don't worry about that." He says. I look at him like he's crazy.

"Fuck no. Why the fuck would I agree to that shit?" I ask him, backing away from him.

"Because you don't really have a choice." He says before grabbing me and pulling me into the building beside The Alley.

Charlie's POV:

I have no clue where Leo went. The last I saw of him was when he was talking to Derrick. Shit.

"Have you heard anything from him?" My mom asks when she sees me. I shake my head and she sighs. He's been gone for about an hour.

"I hope he's alright." She says before turning and leaving.

"Me too." I whisper to myself. We've checked everywhere except... The Alley. I doubt he's there, and yet...

"Mom, I'm gonna check somewhere else!" I yell to her before leaving. I rush as quickly as I can. Hopefully he's okay.

Leo's POV:

He throws an outfit at me and tells me to change into it and hurry. I quickly do and walk out of the room.

"You look like a fighter. Are you any good?" He asks me. A few minutes ago he threatened to kill me if I didn't obey his rules. You would've never thought that had ever happened now.

"I- I don't know..." I tell him. He sighs and shakes his head.

"Well, I guess I need to train you quickly."

I'm excited to start writing again! I missed you guys, and I hope you missed me too!
