"will you marry me?" lili asks as we lay on the couch in the air bnb.

i look at her and pause the office that's playing on the tv. "are you serious?" i ask smiling.

"i mean yeah. we've been dating for over a year. and i'm really happy with you. you know because riverdale was cancelled i didn't think we were going to last because we wouldn't see each other at set every day. but we did and we hung out so much. and the more we did it made me realize how much i love you and i really really do." lili explains turning her body to me and grabbing my hand.

"i love you." i simply say pulling her face to mine and kissing her roughly. "i love you. i love you. i love you." i say in between kisses. "of course i'll marry you." i smile.

as those five words spill out of my mouth lili yells in celebration and tackles me planting kisses everywhere on my body.

"i love you." she breathes out looking me in the eye.
