Chapter 14: War of students.

Jimmy's POV:

As the final bell rings announcing the end of the day Haley and I walk around the front of the school and see Nathan, there's already a group of people waiting. 

My second day and someone wants to kick my ass.  Too bad for him, I don't lose a fight. Ever.

"What's this about Prescott? Are you just being a Shitcunt again?"

"Fuck you Carswell how DARE you disrespect me and embarrass me in front of Rachel, I like her and you fucking just make fun of me and be the 'cool' new kid. So I'm gonna beat your ass."  Nathan starts walking forward as do I.  I'm a few inches taller than him,

"Nathan if you touch him I'll fucking kill you,"  Haley shouts,

"Shut up cunt, this isn't your fight you fucking bitch."  Nathan said back and I snapped.  I lift Nathan up off the ground as he gets scared.  I slam him down and straddle him as I start punching his face in.  "DON'T EVER TALK TO HER LIKE THAT. YOU HEAR ME."  I get off and kick him in the ribs as I start walking away he mumbles something and Haley then punches him several times for the knock out.  "HALEY NICOLE STOP!"   I literally have to pull her off of him.  She gets a little too protective sometimes.

"Don't talk about my brother like that."  Haley runs after me, Rachel and Max quickly follow behind. 

"Jimmy that was amazing, I've never seen anyone stand up to Nathan like that.  Blackwell is finally gonna change I think.  Just don't turn Jimmy,  I love you how you are." Haley said to me.

"Hale, you have got to stop interfering.  He was defenseless. And you kept hitting him, I stopped when he spit out blood.  Now we could be in some serious trouble."  I say. She hangs her head realizing what she did and then grabs my hand, "I'm sorry, I should've known better but he said something bad about you."

"Wowsers dude, I've never seen Nathan so scared." Max says.

"Wowsers? Really Max?" I say laughing, "you are something else Caufield.  But I like it."

"Jimmy, what do you wanna do?"  Rachel asks as she grips my other hand and laces her fingers with mine. 

Haley has gotten used to us pretty quick.  I'm surprised but also happy.  She's finally happy that I'm happy.

"I want to go to the diner, I want a hamburger that's not my own. I'm buying.  So invite Chloe if you want Hale,"  I say,

"She is busy today, apparently she's actually trying to find a job.  I'm proud of her."  Haley says.

"That's really good, I'm glad she's finally growing up a bit." Rachel and Max both say in unison. 

"It's settled let's go to the Two Whales."  We head to my car as Max is hesitant,  she hasn't hung out with us together before.  "Oh come on Max, I don't drive too fast. It'll be fine."  She gets in the back with Haley as Rachel gets in thr passenger side next to me.  I pop in my Halestorm cd and pull out of the parking lot.  The diner appears in view as I pull in.  We see Chloes truck there, which is weird. 

"Chloe must be seeing Joyce."  Haley said as we all get out and head inside.  We see Joyce walking around the tables with a coffee pot but someone else is behind the counter.  And that someone else has blue hair.  As we sit in the usual spot in the back next to the jukebox, Chloe comes out and sees it's us and immediately tries turning.

"No way Price, you get over here and let us see you."  Haley says in a demanding tone. 

"You guys better not laugh or else."  She turns around and it's Chloe alright but she's wearing a uniform similar to joyces, only she has leggings on under the dress, and converse instead of the uniform shoes. I snicker and she glares at me and points at me with her pen.

"Boy, I will hurt you severely. And I know Haley will let me."  Haley then laughs seeing her girlfriend threaten me, I kick her shin under the table and she shoots me a look. 

"Chloe, would you be so kind as to get us all cheeseburgers and Mt. Dew please."  Chloe writes it down snd walks back towards the kitchen,  Haley asks Rachel to move spots with her and Rachel does as Haley sits next to me she pinches my arm and smacks me in the back of the head.  "Kick me again and you die." 

"Calm down Nicole.  You'll be fine."  Oh I shouldn't have said that.  I should not have said that.  As Joyce walks over and checks on us Haley tones down her abusivenes and hides it with a smile while She's still squeezing my wrist under the table.  "You two are behaving aren't you?"  She raises an eyebrow at us.  "Oh yes ma'am, we are being super nice to eachother." 

"Nice to know hon, well I see Chloe has you all taken care of. Just holler if you need me." 

Max and Rachel crack up seeing me and Haley smack eachother back and forth. 

"How did we not know about Jimmy sooner?  You two are hilarious."  Max says snorting from laughing.

"Here you guys go, Jimmy please don't smack my girlfriend too hard, that's my job." Chloe laughs nervously, "That was a joke."  We start eating and Haley calms down a little. She was Hangry. 

"What are the plans for tonight? Since tomorrow you get a day off for a make up snowday. I wanna hang, mom gave me tomorrow off."  She slides in next to Haley and I which flattens me against the window. 

"We are heading to my apartment and playing some games and watching some movies." I say, "Max hasn't seen Tarzan, so we are educating her about it." 

"Im hella in, let's do this i get off in 20 minutes, can you guys chill until then?" We agree to stay and wait. Tonight Is gonna be wild.  I have some alcohol in the freezer and I'm gonna party.
