Chapter 27: last day free

Jimmy's POV:

I wake up around 9:30 in the morning which is just 4 hours after we got in. I'm still exhausted and Rachel has taken all the blankets. I reach down and pull up my spare blanket thay I keep for emergencies like this. "Damn Rachel you blanket hog."

"I heard that," she rolls over and smiles at me and then flicks my forehead, she rolls next to me and kisses me, I bite her lip and she growls at me, one of the sexiest sounds ever. "James craig, I'm trying to be easy but you won't let me will you?" She climbs on top of me and kisses me harder as I bite her lip harder her fingers curl around my throat, she tightens her grip anf I roll on top of her, I kiss her hard, and then move to her neck, and I bite down hard. "I marked you this time." She then rolls me over and gets back on me and bites my neck and leaves a huge red mark on my neck, "I marked my territory, anyone fucks with you and they die." She kisses me again and turn she lays next to me and cuddles.

"Babe, I need to go back to sleep." I kiss her cheek and fall asleep while we cuddle. 3 hours later I jolt awak, it's noon and I forgot we aren't at mom's anymore. I slowly get up as to not wake Rachel, and get dressed and head out to the living room. Haley is surprisingly already up, she made coffee and left me a list of stuff she needs from the store, she says her and Chloe are out on a date for the day and they'll be back later. That leaves me with Rachel and.... Max. "She's so gonna kill me, I shouldn't have hung up on her."

"Yeah, you shouldn't have, and damn right I'm gonna kill you, I should strangle you. what were you thinking?!? You worried us half to death. Chloe made a straight drive all the way up there for you and Haley. I wanted to go but someone needed to be here for Shadow." Max says, I had no idea she was already up. She keeps walking towards me making me back up against the wall. "Jimmy, you cannot do that. We love you and care about you, shit man. I wouldn't even hangout here if I didn't care about you or Haley. You are one of my best friends now, which means you are stuck with me for life. Anything you need, anything at all you just ask." She then hugs me again and I hug her back.

"Max I'm sorry, it was a moment of weakness and I hate myself for it. My arm hurts really bad, I'm lucky I didn't pop my stitches. Haley and Chloe already gave me a lecture about it, so if you are done, I just wanna go get this stuff and come back and watch movies or play a game." She looks at me and gets an adorable smile.

"You owe me for hanging up on me, and making me worry. Don't worry it's nothing bad. You have to watch Final Fantasy: Spirits Within with me." No, no no no no, Jimmy does not watch that movie.

"Max I hate that movie and I don't have it." She then puts her finger to my mouth.

"I do though, and tough shit. You owe me James." The way she says my real name sends shivers down my spine. I'd rather take a beating from Haley or Rachel or even Chloe than be scolded by Max again, that shits the true definition of scary

"Fine, put it in and I'll go get food and be back." I leave as Max is getting shit set up for the movie, I really really think that movie gave Final Fantasy a bad rap, but I loved Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. I leave and head to the store and when I get back Rachel is still asleep and Max is ready to watch.

"Max, I really don't want to wa-" she glares at me and I sit down on my couch and hit play. "If you fall asleep, you'll owe me double." She smirks as the movie starts.

I pull out my can of cope and pack it and put a lip in and grab my bottle, this is gonna be a long movie.

When the movie is finally over, Rachel gets up and shuffles to my couch and lays face first in the pillow on my lap.

"Uh babe, you look hungover." She smacks me. "I mean you look gorgeous and super beautiful." Max is on the other couch laughing and Rachel sits up and kisses me.

"I'm hungry, what do we have to eat." She gets up and drags me to the fridge and starts digging through it.

"I went out and got Haley some food this morning her and Chloe sre on a date for the day so it's us 3, Max you staying again tonight? I need to know for dinner tonight."

"Sure, I'm gonna call my parents real quick so you two can have some alone time." She walks outside and leaves us alone.

"Jimmy, you don't sleep too much do you. Is it your depression?" She looks me in the eye, and I can't lie to her.

"Yeah, I either don't sleep at all or I sleep too much. If you guys weren't here I'd still be sleeping. But I know I need to be up and hanging out to even attempt to help myself, that's what matters most is me wanted to help myself." She hugs me tight and I smile, I love this woman. Max opens the door and sits back on the couch.

"Jimmy I want to thank you again for helping me see my parents again, that meant a lot to me."

"Not a problem young lady,"

"Who are you calling young lady? I'm 18."

"Max I'm older than you by a few months." I say as I laugh. Rachel laughs too and Max joins in. Then a knock on the door jars me out of it and my entire body tenses up... the only persons presence who does this to me is....

"Jimmy open up, Haley is on her way back so we can catch up." The voice of my dad comes through the door. I shove Rachel and Max into my room and tell them not to make a sound.

I open the door and let him in, "Thanks for coming dad, I know you don't like me and I don't like you, but we seriously need to talk about the prescotts." My fists clench as he walks in. Haley then bursts in right before I close the door followed by Chloe.

"DAD!!!!!" Haley hugs him as Chloe glares at him and whispers to me, "this is John? He's buffer than I thought." I shove her aside as she glares at me, I'll risk the beating for this.

"How's my little princess? I haven't seen you in a few years."

"Im.good dad but, this isn't what we called you for. This is important."

"Dad, we need you to talk to Sean Prescott and make sure we can Talk with Nathan. I know you and Sean were college and high school buddies, but we need this to happen, nobody humiliates a Carswell."

"You little piss ant, telling ME what to do? Your own father?"

I slam him against the wall, "Listen here asshole, I did not agree to let Haley call you hear to belittle me in front of my girlfriend or Haley's girlfriend you will sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up. AND FUCKING HELP US WITH THIS. FOR ONCE IN YOUR PATHETIC ABUSIVE LIFE CAN YOU JUST LISTEN TO ME, I DON'T CARE IF YOU HATE ME BUT PLEASE, KEEP IT FUCKING IN YOUR HEAD UNTIL HALEY OR ANYONE ELSE BESIDES ME IS NOT AROUND!"

Haley, Chloe and even Rachel and Max are stunned. I didn't even notice them leave my room but everyone is stunned at how mad I got.

"Get your hands off of me, you filthy piece of shit. You've got balls for talking to me like that." He punches me hard to the ground as I get up and slam him into yhe wall again and punch him in his face, "DON'T EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN!!!" I run outside and get in my car and speed off... I wanted to fucking kill him, I wanted to so bad. If nobody else was there I would have. I'm driving to the only place I know I can be safe at. The lighthouse.
