Chapter 34: The Truth Revealed

Jimmy's POV:

"Jimmy why were you taking to Nathan? He fucking embarrassed you and made a fucking fool out of you." Haley says as she paces in front of me.

"Because Haley, we worked together on some things for Frank. Plus, since Frank is fucked up I told Nathan not to mention anything to him if he sees him. Nathan is cool about that, he knows how frank is."

"You better be sure about this, I mean I've second guessed you since the day we were b-" I snap a look at her.

"Haley, come with me." I drag her into my room and as I close the door Chloe yells "what was she about to say?"

"Haley what the fuck, we aren't supposed to tell anyone. We agreed on this when you left for Blackwell, you are my older sister." She looks down and grabs my hand.

"I know, it slipped I'm sorry." Haley says, as she hugs me. "We do need to tell them though..."

"I know Hale, but now? Are you really sure about this? This could fuck everything up." She grabs my hand and leads me out.

"Chloe, Rachel, Max all three of you sit on the couch. We have something to tell you that you need to know." Haley keeps holding my hand, squeezing it and moving closer to me.

"What is it? Is it something dark and dangerous?" Chloe asks getting a smile.

"Is it secret? Is it life altering?" Rachel asks.

"Technically yes, it is life altering." I say, Max, Chloe and Rachel all get uneasy and tense.

"Well, what is it then?" Max says.

"Me and Haley are the same age, we are twins. We were born at the same time." I say as Haley squeezes my hand more.

"Whoa, you mean to tell us, that Jimmy and you, Haley, are literally thr same hour, day, year old. And we've been told this whole time that you were older." Chloe says.

"Jimmy, you two are fucking twins?! Why didn't you tell us? This is some serious shit to drop on us." Rachel says as she grabs her head with both her hands.

"It is sorta hella badass though, they do look the same, only Jimmys more gruffer looking than Haley, but I can see it. Fuck yeah twins."

"This is how I know Jimmy was in trouble and how we can sorta hear eachothers thoughts and now you guys know.... please don't tell anyone else." Haley let's go of my hand finally, "I hold his hand at times when im.scared because I lost him a few times and I'm so afraid of losing him again. He's my best friend and he's always been, he's been supportive of me and my sexuality and all my decisions since day 1." They all stare at us as we finish. This is insanely hard.

"So let me recap, you guys are twins. And you both have a telepathy like power where you can both feel eachothers emotions or understand what the other is thinking about? And Jimmy has also been supportive of you since day one?"

"Correct." Haley says, "That's the reason he's in our classes, he's a couple minutes older than me.  This is hard I know but you guys would've found out regardless.  We got separated at birth when mom went a little crazy leaving our dad for a few years, but eventually came back...  and Jimmy got sent away in middle school for a year which was terrible and when he came back, we started our band when dad started getting mean snd nasty with him.  That's why I hold his hand, I don't want to lose him again.  That's why I get so over protective of him.  Without him I'm nothing and useless." 

"Damn babe, this is so sad, but did you think this was gonna change anything?  You two are fucking inseparable and so are we, all 5 of us are the best of friends.  Yeah, your age might be a shock to me right now, but damn.  We got this and I still love you."  Rachel says as she gets up and hugs me.

"This really is serious, I need some time to process this." Max says as she stands up still holding shadow, she sets him down and Chloe snatches him up.  I guess she really loves cats.  She told me once, that she had a cat named Bongo and showed me a picture of him.  He was so cute and Shadow really loves her.  Since she basically lives here all but one day a week, Shadow keeps her company when we are all at school.

"Jimmy and Haley, the wonder twins..... that's your nickname now.  The motherfucking hella badass wonder twins.  I'm dating one and the other is like my brother, and maybe one day will be my brother in law."  We all stare at Chloe when she says that...

"Chloe, what did you just say?"  Haley gets a shocked look on her face, "Chloe, what did you say?" Haley walks over to her and sits down and they lock eyes. 

"I sense some weirdness going on here,"  I start inching towards the door, as Max grabs me, "oh no you dont, I didn't get to leave so you don't get to leave." She drags me back into the room.  "Chloe Elizabeth Price."  Haley hugs her and kisses her.

"What did Jimmy miss? Why did Haley use Chloes full name?"  I ask, I talk in third person which I find weird but it's whatever.

"Chloe asked me to marry her," she shows us the ring and I about have a coronary.  "Chloe, a word please."  I pull Chloe into my room.  "What the fuck? I thought you were gonna wait a few more months to get that, I was gonna help you get it remember?" 

"Yeah yeah, keep it in your pants Metal Head, I got this. If I need help I'll ask, I mean shit.  I'm glad you offered but I got this."

"Chloe, anything you need I'll be more than happy to help with anything."  She hugs me.

"I'm glad you are going to be my brother.  You irritate the hell out of me but I still pick on you and love you like you are my family, Joyce loves you guys too and says you are welcome over there anytime.  I also need to thank you for helping me with Frank, I'm still gonna beat you for turning me in, but it was cool how you Stood up to him for me.  I owe you a lot."

"Thanks Chloe, and don't mention it.  I'd never let anyone harm you.  I seriously thought he only wanted to talk." She looks at me and smiles and then punches me.

"If you tell anyone I said I owe you, your ass is mine."  She smirks and walks out of the room.
