He walked through the uneven game trail with a smirk on his face. He was almost at the human village. They thought that they could hide from him.
Never...
He was the best hunter/warrior in the kingdom, and nothing could stand in his way. The village that sheltered those disgusting humans came into view.
Look out, look out
Now don't run away,
For I will just kill you another day.
Look out, look out,
I'm ready to kill,
It would be easier if you stood still.
He sang this song with a menacingly sweet tone. They were hiding a traitor to the crown and that was his mission. Find and Kill.
His heart was made of stone and he had no remorse. Everyone feared him, even the King himself. He fed off this fear like it was oxygen. He had the world wrapped around his little finger and would stop at nothing to get in his way.
Warning bells rang throughout the village, much to his annoyance. He could see all the tiny bugs running to the nearest house or shelter, not that it would protect them from him. He got to the very edge of the village. They were completely unprepared for his visit. He chuckled ominously, and 'tsk'ed.
"Now where are you?" he growled deeply. A flicker of movement caught his eye, and his hand grabbed the source of the movement. It was an older woman. Her eyes were wide with fear and she licked her lips nervously.
"Hello, mam," he said in a very calm and emotionless tone, "Could you tell me where the traitor is? Then I'll set you down nice and easy."
"The traitor left yesterday," the woman trembled, "Into the Middle Grounds."
He looked to see any trace of dishonesty and found none. He humphed and set the woman down. He stormed through the village, not caring if he destroyed anything. He needed to find his prey.
