Chapter Sixteen

Oh my god, Luke. I completely forgot about the date. He probably hates me now. I stood him up, and I was right beside him the whole time.

I pick up my phone and dial his number. "Luke?"

"Yeah?" He answers.

"Hey, Luke, I'm so sorry! I forgot about the date. I hope you aren't mad." I say into the phone.

Lucy an I were currently walking to a coffee shop we found while touring the city after the show. We had to wear disguises so people wouldn't recognize us, although, not a lot of people know who I am.

"It's fine. In all honesty, I forgot about it too. Maybe we can reschedule it?" He asks, amusement in his voice.

"Sure thing. See you later on the bus." I say.

"You too." He replies, hanging up.

Lucy holds the door open, us entering the coffee shop. We walk to the counter and order ourselves some iced coffees.

We sit down at a table in the corner and talk.

"So how's the bus without me?" Lucy asks.

"Fine. I mean, all is normal. I can tell I'm going to get annoyed with the boys really soon though, even though it's been, what, like three days?" I say.

"Why?" She asks.

"Well, because Luke is always stealing the food, and I get hungry sometimes too. Ashton is always taking videos of us, and frankly, sometimes, I don't want to be on every single video, especially while I am showering. All Michael does is play video games, and that alright, but he never let's me play. And Calum, is well...Calum." I explain.

"Sounds like you are having fun." Lucy observes.

"Yeah right." I mumble.

"Well, I better get going. Got to get back to the bus." I say, getting up.

"Don't have too much fun without me." Lucy waves me off.

I exit the coffee shop and run into three girls walking by.

"Hey, aren't you that Audrey girl that sang with 5 Seconds of Summer?" A brunette girl asks me.

"Uh...yeah, I am." I reply. How did they recognize me?

They must be in the 5sos fam.

"Oh my gosh, can we get a picture with you?" The brunette's friend asks.

"Sure thing." I say, looking at the camera. The picture clicks, and the girls look at the photo.

"Thank you so much. I can't believe you are standing right in front of me." The brunette girl says.

"In the flesh. Have a good night girls." I tell them, walking away.

I walk a few blocks then reach the bus. I say hi to Paul, 5sos' bodyguard throughout the tour, as I walk in.

I see that no one is there, so I go to the back room. I grab a random guitar and shut the door, sitting on the small couch in the back room with the guitar in my lap, ready to play.

The boys don't know that I like to observe how they play. I know how to play a few songs just by watching them.

I strum a few nets to get me started, then I start playing on of my favorite songs by my friends, 'Beside You'.

Then I start to sing along as I play.
