I pull the white veil over my face, brushing out my beautiful dress.

I can't believe it's finally happening.

I stand in the mirror, admiring my dress and veil. My hair is pulled up into a braided bun, pins sticking in and out of it.

My heart thuds as the time gets closer.

The ceremony will start soon.

Lucy comes up behind me and steals the veil.

"It's not your day Audrey. It's mine." She sticks her tongue out.

I roll my eyes and fix my purple MOH dress. (Made of Honor)

"You know, you look extremely beautiful today." I tease.

"It is my wedding day." Lucy replies.

"Exactly. I'm glad I was there when you picked the dress out. I wouldn't have let you wear anything other than this." I say.

"Audrey, you picked a tan cowgirl's dress for me to wear." She says, narrowing her eyes.

"I thought Ashton would like it." I joke.

She sighs and puts the veil on.

"Better get out there. It's about to start." She warns.

I get up and go to my place in front of a few of Lucy's friends, the bridesmaids, as the Made of Honor.

It's been two years.

Two years since their big tour that I went on with them.

They are huge now, everyone knows about them.

They aren't the only ones.

After the tour, I had numerous music producers interested in me, and I finally picked one that would represent me.

You guessed it.

Hi or Hey records. Why not? At least I'll be with the boys a lot now.

We are still all friends, and we all see each other about everyday.

Ashton and Lucy got together, broke up, got back together, then repeated the cycle multiple times until finally, he popped the question.

Now, here we are at their wedding. It's so sweet.

Luke and I are still strong. Haven't broken up once, except for the time that I thought it wouldn't work because I had to go to America for five months, but we worked it out, skyping every day, and calling and texting each other until I got back.

He's Ashton's best man. Ashton couldn't choose with band mate to pick, so he let them draw names out of a hat. Luke won, obviously.

Calum and Michael are the same as they used to be. Still annoying and clever.

I stand quietly and wait until the music plays, signaling Lucy.

Ashton looks so nervous, but so excited at the same time.

They really make a cute couple.

After the wedding, we all go back to Frendy's, and sit down at our usual table.

Ashton and Lucy decided to come, before leaving on their honeymoon.

I feel so special they postponed it for us.

"You guys better be glad the plane doesn't leave for another hour. We still have to load up the suitcases and stuff like that." Ashton says, stuffing his face with ice cream.

"I'm glad you love us." Luke grins.

"Yeah, whatever." He rolls his eyes.

It feels good. Having friends like this.

After all this time, we've been friends, trustworthy, and loyal.

We all have our own lives, but choose to live it together.

I smile and kiss Luke's cheek.

He even kept his promise. He was backstage after my very first show by myself. He gave me my kiss and a hug.

It couldn't get much better than this.

So it all works out good, just like in a fairy tale.

Except, that's what I thought until the very person I couldn't stand, walked through the doors of the ice cream shop.

I stand up.

"Mom?"
