"Okay, do I look better in the green shirt or the black one?" Lucy asks me.

"Black one of course." I answer her.

Lucy and I left the boys to shop in a store on our own. Since we are girls, we prefer getting clothes.

But... there is always video games.

But Michael promised he wouldn't go to a game store without us, so they are probably busy shopping for clothes for themselves.

"Okay, I'm going to go try these on." Lucy says to me. She nods to the clothes I have in my hand. "You should try those on Drey."

I nod and follow her to the dressing rooms.

I find an empty one in the corner and begin to change into one of the outfits.

It's black skinny jeans and a grey knit sweater. I tag on a black beanie just to make it look better.

The outfit goes well with the black combat boots I'm already wearing.

"I think I like this one!" I yell to Lucy, who's just a few rooms over.

"Let me see it." She yells back, while I walk out of the dressing room.

"It looks nice. You could definitely pull it off." She tells me.

I smile at the compliment and go to change back into normal clothes.

In the end, I get a few more things, stuff like jewelry and hats.

I check out and Lucy and I walk out with our bags. She texts Ashton, asking where they are.

"They are apparently at the food court. Wanna meet them up there?" She asks me.

"Yeah let's go. I'm a little hungry." I say back.

We go up to the food court and find the boys standing in line for something to eat at a small restaurant.

"Whatcha guys want?" Ashton asks us.

"Oh, I'll take a burger with fries. I'm trying to get fat you know." Lucy jokes, pointing out her toothpick figure.

She's never been insecure about eating in front of people.

Ash turns to me. "I'll get a small salad." I say, making him cringe at me.

"What?" I ask.

"A salad? Really? I'm getting you a taco." He says, making up his mind and turning around.

"I don't want a taco, I want a salad." I tell him.

"Nope. Getting you a taco." He says firmly.

I roll my eyes. I know it's useless trying to convince him.

I sit down with Lucy to wait for the boys to bring us our food.

When they set it down, we dig in, acing like animals.

We eat faster than the boys do, not noticing that I was hungrier than I thought.

"You want something else?" Luke asks.

"No I'm good." I say.

"Alright then, if everyone's done, I say we hit the game store." Michael says.

"Of course you would say that." Lucy jokes.

He shrugs. He's not ashamed.

We head down the game store and Michael immediately roams around, picking up basically every game and stuffing them into his arms.

"Michael, you can't have every game." I say.

"But I want them." He gives me the pouty face.

His obsession with video games was so cute.

"You don't have enough money. How about you pick one game and I'll buy it for you, that way you can spend your money on other stuff?" I suggest.

"You don't have to do that. I have everything I already want. You go pick out a game yourself." He tells me.

I do as he says and I find a few that I might want, but I eventually settle down on one.

We check out, meeting Ashton and Luke outside since they don't really do this kind of stuff.

Calum comes out with Lucy, a bag from the store in each of their arms.

"Everybody ready to go home?" Ashton asks.

We all nod and walk back to the car.

We talk about what we got on the way home, joking around and losing our stuff in other people's bags.

"Calum, that spike bracelet is mine." Lucy says, trying to grab the object out of his hands.

"No it's not. I bought it." He tries to convince her.

"Whatever, what could you possibly want with a spike bracelet?" She asks.

He turns to me. "So I can do this." He pokes me with one of the spikes.

"That didn't hurt Calum." I tell him.

His smile turns into disappointment as he gives the bracelet back to Lucy.

"That's what I thought." She says.

Ashton drops us all off, me second to last, leaving only him and Luke.

"Night Drey!" Ash shouts to me.

"Yeah, goodnight Drey!" Luke copies.

I wave without turning around and go inside my house.

I set down my stuff and hop onto the couch.

I find the remote and turn on Netflix. I pick a movie I surprisingly haven't seen and watch it quietly.

Life can be so boring alone.
