Please don't tell me I'm the only one that didn't know that.
Ever since I first started playing Animal Crossing (which was around 2014) I thought he was a goddamn mole rat or something.
But after doing a little time travel in AC I went back to Groundhog day to see what that was all about, thinking that some kinda Groundhog guy was gonna come around,
But no.
Instead, after seeing the cut out standees of him and Issabelle giving me a tiny Resseti model (which i cherish) I realized that Resseti was a Groundhog.
Like that legit blew my mind.
