Adan walked over to us. I backed away from him a little. She gave me a glance of anger.
"Joshua, I missed you so much"
She ran towards him and hugged him. He hugged her back
"Do you want me to leave?"
"Yes please. But isn't leave the house unless you want the disease to spread"
As I was leaving I switched on the tape recorder and recorded their whole conversation.
"So the Frozen inhabiter started it's attack" she asked
"Yes it has. With Autumn and her father"
"I see. That's why you haven't come back home"
"I want to come back with you. But then this world would perish"
"I know honey. Come back in one piece. I miss you so much. I thought you were dead until Lizzy told us the situation"
"She told you? She's a weird kid. I honestly don't know anything about her"
"I don't think Autumn does either"
"Speaking Of Autumn, I think she likes me"
"It's obvious. But she's too awkward to make a move"
"Agreed. She didn't save my life. You did"
"I forgot I did that"
"I'll never be able to forget"
"Do you need our help with the operation"
"Not right now but when I enter the frozen plane, I'll need y'all."
"You're entering the frozen plane?!"
"It's the only way to stop the anti fever"
"That's a dumb name for a virus"
"That's what everyone's calling it"
"Don't get attached to this family, Joshua"
"I won't."
"If Autumn makes a move tell me"
"I will"
Adan climbed down the ladder. She walked into the living room where Lizzy and I where.
Frosty the snowman
Was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe
And a button nose and
Two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman
Is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow
But the children know
How he came to life one day
There must have been some magic
In that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around
Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say
He could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me
Frosty the snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day
So he said, "Let's run
And we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away"
Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there
All around the square
Saying "Catch me if you can"
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"
Frosty the snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying,
"Don't you cry
I'll be back again some day"
Thumpity, thump, thump
Thumpity, thump, thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpity, thump, thump
Thumpity, thump, thump
Over the hills of snow
The song ended as soon as she walked over to me.
"Hello Adan"
"Autumn, listen closely. Back off Joshua, he's mine."
"I know"
"I also know you like him"
My face went to a dark shade of red
"No I don't"
"Don't lie to me Autumn"
"Maybe a little"
"Stay awake from him"
And then she left.
"Wow, how do Mom and Dad not hear all that?" Lizzy Asked
"Shut Up Lizzy. I'm going to show that girl who's boss around here"
"But first you should focus on saving the world"
"Yeah okay. Let's do that"
