My eyes blink open and give a sigh, I had accidentally transformed last night. I was now in my wolf form instead of my wolf demi-human form. I shook myself awake and quickly shifted myself into my wolf demi-human form. I walked over to the dresser where my clothing had been laid out. There was a black shirt with a silver dragon embroidered on the front of it and a pair of black pants that had the continuation of the dragon on it. Next to the shirt and pants was a pair of black boots that hat silver wolves embroidered along the side. Along with the boots, there was also a black cloak that had a silver trim along the edges.

"It's morning already," Len says Sleepily and with a large yawn.

"Yes, now get ready we have a long day, " I say as I am getting ready.

"Do you know what is for breakfast ?" Len says

"It smells like wild boar and quail eggs," I say enthusiastically.

"Lucky you that is your favorite meal that your mom makes," Len says with a grin. As he says this there is a loud knock on the door and I hear my sister's voice.

"Haro, Len are you guys ready yet it is almost time to go if you guys take any longer than you will not be able to eat any breakfast" she yells through the door.

"Yes Halo we are almost ready, we will be up in a minute," I say.

Len and I finished getting ready and hurried up the stairs towards the living area. As I get up there I immediately walk over to the food make a plate with magic and start serving myself.

"Hey Haro I should have known you would start gorging yourself on the boar and quail eggs as soon as you got up here," my sister says annoyed.

"Well it is my favorite dish after all," I say back

"Stop it you two we don't have enough time to be arguing we have to leave soon, and besides we will soon be hearing enough of it soon with your great great grandparents," my mother says with a sigh. I quickly finish eating and dissolve the plate that I made. As soon as I finished my father poked his head in.

"Hurry you guys the false nigh will soon be here," my father says as he ducks back outside. We quickly hurry out and to the ceremony hill on the opposite side of the village exit. People had already begun to gather around the hill. Izoy runs over to us

"Are you guys ready?" he says excitedly. I remember that Izoy had not yet taken the trial yet and was eagerly awaiting the day of his trial next human year.

"Yes, and what about you are you ready for your next human year after we get back," I say happily.

"Yep, though I will get lonely without you guys, " He says with his ears somewhat drooping.

"Don't worry about it Izoy we will be back before you know it?" Halo says as she pats him on the head.

"Yeah and we will bring you back a bunch of souvenirs from the outside world," Rin says

"Okay now we should be heading up there, see you next human year Izoy and don't forget to train hard when we are gone," I say with a smile. We make our way up to the top of the hill where my father and mother were waiting. As soon as we get to the top the sky suddenly turns from day to night with both the sun and the moon in the sky. We suddenly here some people bickering above us. I look up and see my great great grandparents coming down from the sky.

"I told you we should have come sooner look they are about to start the ceremony," says my great great grandmother. She looked even younger than my mom who looked to be in her mid-twenties in human years. My great great grandmother looked to be in her early twenties in human years, she had long white hair and her eyes were both colored white she was wearing an extravagant white kimono. She also had a slight white aura to her.

"We made it didn't we, we would not have been so late if you were not so picky about what kimono you wanted to wear," my great great grandfather says. He looked about the same age as my great great grandmother. He had ruffled short black hair and his eyes were both black he was wearing a simple black kimono. He also had a slight dark aura around him.

"Hey you two can you please stop bickering and get down here," Father says annoyed at the two of them. They immediately float over to us.

"I am sorry Ailum," my great great grandfather says. My great great grandmother lands and walks over to us.

"Oh how I missed you two," she says as she hugs us both.

"Stop it, Grandmother, your embarrassing can we please just continue with the ceremony," Halo says as she pushes great great grandmother away.

"Oh come on you two we even brought gifts for you" great great grandmother say as she releases us from the hug.

"Yes, we did," my great great grandfather says with a giant smile as he ruffles the hair on our heads.

"Yay," we say in unison.

"Can we please start the ceremony now?" Mother says tapping her foot.

"Yes yes we will be waiting by the exit of the village to give them our gifts," my great great grandfather says as they both disappear.

"Now that they are gone we can go on with the ceremony," Father says happily.

"Yes," Mother says. Father turns towards us and gives us a serious look.

"Do you Haro, Len, Halo, and Rin promise not to lead anyone to this village"

"Yes," we say together.

"Do you promise to learn and take all opportunities to learn that you can.

"Yes," we say.

"Them your trial may commence," he says as he up a lantern and begins to lead us to the exit. As we go we all collect the lanterns that are hanging outside of everyone's houses. After about an hour we finally make it to the exit carrying a bunch of lanterns on a long stick. We see our great great grandparents come into sight. They quietly give us there lanterns and stand there. They kind of look like they want to say something but they can't due to village law. We exit the village with a bow a continue through to the end of the tunnel to see our first glimms of the outside world.
