A/N: Hey guys this is actually the last chapter I have in stock right now so it might be a while until the next update. But I still hope you all enjoy a please if you find anything that is weird or seems out of place tell me Besides working on the next chapter I am also editing right now so it would be really helpful if you guys would point out stuff. Now back to the story.
As soon as we could see again after being teleported we noticed that we were in a large hall with elaborate magic lights everywhere, there was also a large red carpet with golden designs on it, the wall is a pure white color, with the floor underneath the carpet is made out of a beautiful marble. We were all standing there in amazement with our mouths slightly hanging open. We had never seen a room this elaborate in our entire lives. In front of us is a slightly chubby man he is wearing a long black jacket with a white shirt underneath and black pants. He also is wearing a pair of shiny black shoes, and a dark blue tie. His hair was short and well groomed but his glare was pompous.
"All right all of you separate yourselves into two groups human nobles and non-humans and commoners," The slightly chubby man says. Oh great, he is like those gate guards that we met earlier, I hope that this does not go badly. We walk over to our group there are only about 30 of us in the room and only about 10 of us are in the non-human and commoner group so we were pretty easy to spot.
"All right people get in line human nobles go first next is commoners then non-humans," He slightly chubby man says. Really we are at the end this is annoying. I wanted to get to our new house soon. After we all got in line he started calling the nobles up to place their hand on a magic detector, it seemed all the magic detector would do was tell you how much mana you have and what elements you could use.
I was in front of my sister and the others so I would be tested first. About 10 minutes have passed and thus far the largest amount of mana I have seen is 100 in which everyone cheered for. Nothing else notable happened till about the commoner girl in front of me got a score of 150 with an affinity with light magic which was higher than the Nobel who got 100, everyone in the room gasped and was amazed some spat on her but others praised her. Humans are weird shouldn't you praise people if they are stronger than them. Finally, after the commotion died down it was my turn, I also noticed in the corner of my eye that the headmaster had come in I also noticed that she had a box with extra magic orbs in it I wonder why.
I walk forward the slightly chubby man sneered at me and said "put your hand on the orb elf"
"Ok," I say I think back to the last time I measured my mana and it was around 1000 and that was when I was 3. I think it has grown since then. I place my hand on the crystal and insert my mana into it. My stats appeared they were listed out like so. Affinities: ^Fire, ^Earth, ^Water, ^Air, ^Darkness, -Light, ~Time, ^Space, ~ life, -Summoning, ^Illusion, -Aura, ~Creation, ^Combat, , - weather magic, ^Telekinesis, -Plant, ^Barrier,- Taming ,^Dream, ~Electric, ^Ice, ^Dimensional, ~Sound, ~Direction, -Restoration, ~Teleportation,-Binding, -Animation, ~Magic manipulation, ^Shape shifting , ^Poison. Mana Amount 10000. As soon as they finished copping it down I released my hand and the orb crumbled. Crap why is the orb so delicate everyone except the headmaster, my sister, Rin, and Len were staring at me with their mouths open. The headmaster walks up nonchalantly and replaces the orb.
"Next person," the headmaster says as she stands aside. My sister walks up an the crystal show her stats like so Affinities: ^Fire, ^Earth, ^Water,^ Air, -Darkness, ^Light, ^Time, -Space,^ life , ~Summoning,^ Illusion, -Aura, ^Creation,~ Combat, ^Wether magic, ^Telekinesis, ^Plant, ^Barrier,- Taming ,-Dream, ^Electric,-Ice, -Dimensional, ^Sound, -World, ~Direction, ^Restoration, ~Teleportation, ^Binding, -Animation,^Magic Manipulation, ^Shape shifting ,- Poison. Mana Amount 10000. The copier copied it again and the room was still silent. When Halo removed her hand from the orb it crumbled just like mine did. The headmaster replaced the orb again and said next Len got the same stats as me and Rin got the same stats as Halo. In the end, all the orbs broke and pretty much everyone in the room had either their mouths open and wide eyes or just past out on the floor. The only people not phased by this were my sister, me, Len, Rin, and the headmaster.
"Come on you four we better get out of here before they all come to their senses," The headmaster says quietly as she ushers us out of the room.
"Umm headmaster why was everyone in there so surprised at the results," my sister says as we exit the room.
"Humans and most other races do not have the capacity to carry that amount of mana within their bodies without exploding," the headmaster says as she starts to walk towards the entrance gate of the school. " Now I am pretty sure that you four have a place to stay when we are preparing a room for you guys here so stay there and try to not make a big disturbance it should only take a week or so for the rooms of all the students are set up. Oh, and I want you guys to check in with me at least once per day to make sure you are doing okay."
"Okay," Halo says as we turn to walk out the gate of the school.
A/N: Hi again. The key for above is ^ High Affinity, ~ Nuteral Affinity, And- Low Affinity. I am sorry if that was confusing. Note they have Affinity in all of those, if they did not have them they would not be there. Thank you for reading thus far.
