Once we got inside the walls of the city we saw a huge amount of people buying and selling goods through many of them seemed to make way for the carriage we are in.
"So you are the lord of the city," I said warily
" Yes I and my wife were originally high ranked adventurers but as we got old we decided it was time to settle down and start a family. As adventures, we had become good friends with the current king and he believed that we would be appropriate enough to govern the capital city." Mr. Wolfshire says.
"You guys said that you were going to the academy right, if I am not mistaken the entrance exams are today so would you like us to drop you off there of course when you are waiting for your results you can stay with us we are just up the road at Wolf Flower Manner, will also inform the guards posted there to let you threw." Mis. Wolfshire says happily to me and my sister.
"Thank You Ms.Wolfshire we will take you up on your offer to take us to the academy but I think we will have to decline your offer to stay at your home for the time being, but we will definitely visit you once we have settled down," My sister says with a smile on her face.
We ride in the carriage for a few more minutes in silence before the carriage halts to a stop
" We have arrived at the academy," Mr. Wolfshire says from the front of the carriage.
"Thank you," Halo and I say as we hop out of the carriage
"We will visit you soon," Halo says happily
We give a slight bow and turn towards the academy gates there are many students and applicants around the gate. The current students seem to be directing the applicants into a line. I walk up to one of the students that look like they are in charge.
"Hello there, I and my sister are here to apply, but first we are supposed to give this letter to the headmaster"
The student looks us over and pauses a bit before he speaks
"Sure I will take you to the headmaster. just follow me," The student says as he turns to lead us. He walks through the gates and into the main school building we take a few turns and up some stairs before we reach a large door with a sign next to it saying Headmaster in silver letters.
"We are here you two now I need to go back don't cause any trouble ok, " he says as he walks away.
"Thank you," my sister says as she turns towards me and says "are you ready,"
"Yes let's go in," I say as I push open the large wooden door
As I entered the room my vision was filled with piles upon piles of papers everywhere within the room. As I looked closer I saw a large wooden desk that seemed to be covered in even more papers. I walked in and said "Hello"
"Ah ah give me a moment" I hear a childish voice say then a crash came from behind the desk. I and my sister hurried through the room till we came upon a young girl who looked to be no more than 12 years of age lying on the floor in front of us she has shoulder length ginger-colored hair, golden eyes and she was wearing long blue and white robes.
As she began to get up my sister asked " are you ok"
"Uhh umm yes," the little girl said as she looked around confused
"Umm who are you two you do not look like students at least not yet anyway"
"I will presume that you are the headmaster of this school than young miss"
"Yes," she says with a nod of her head
I get out the lettering and pass it to her
As she opens the letter and reads it her eyes grow big in surprise. I wonder what my parents put in it.
So you are those twos children then I had heard that twins were rare for your race so I did not think anything of it when I saw the two of you.
" So you know our parents then," my sister asks
" yes, we were good friends a few centuries ago we out adventuring together" both I and my sister's mouth dropped as she says that this young girl in front of us was older than the both of us and the same age as our parents. Even for our race looking that young at that age is almost impossible.
She begins to laugh " I guys I should introduce myself," she says as she wipes her face
" I am Luna Celeste descendent of the goddess of immortality Illa. One of the most powerful mostly human mage in the world" she grins. I and my sister stood there dumbfounded we had heard that it was very rare for anyone to a descendant of a god and much less be able to inherit their powers to some extent it usually has to be with the consent and or blessing of their god ancestor.
"So Illa blessed you to stop aging at the age of ten then," I said as I began to guess her age.
"That's right and from what this letter says you guys have been blessed from birth by your great great grandparents"
"Yes," My sister says with a smile.
" So back on to the reason you came "
"Ah yes we came to register at this school for the year and maybe longer," My sister says
"You guys can attend this school but you still have to take the tests, here I will take you guys there. I need to supervise the test anyway. Oh you guys have your sword ravens with you right"
" Yes we do, " I say
"Then I would like for you to register them as well at this school we not only register normal people as students but also their familiars and we could have them pretend to be familiars instead of actual people due to your connection. So can you please have them transform"
"Sure," my sister says with a smile as she gets out Rin and I begin to retrieve Len from my waist and I put him on the floor. They both glow and shift into their human forms.
"Wow It has been a while since I have seen a sword Raven," Luna says with a smile
"I think the last ones I saw were your parent's partners Rey and Lana. So what are your partners named"
"I am named Len Ms," Len says with tiredness evident in his eyes I can already tell he is not that happy with being forced into school.
"And I am named Rin Ms." She states with a smile. She at least seems to be taking this better than her brother.
"All right then since all introductions have been made we better go done and run the test, " She says as she navigates her way thru the room and toward the door. We follow her back down the hallways. Towards the entrance of the school as we got there, we saw that the number in incoming students had decreased and they were all standing in front of the wooden stage in an orderly fashion. When we walked out people became quiet and was staring at the headmaster then to us. I pointed to the crowd thinking that I and Halo should probably join it and the headmaster nodded as she went up the stage. I and the others went into the crowd and were careful not to get separate as the headmaster began her speech.
"Dear incoming student or at least prospect students today you have come here to try and enter our prestigious academy, But I do have to warn you the test our strict and any cheating will not be tolerated even if you are a Nobel. The tests will be split into four different groups. They are magic, fighting, knowledge, and alchemy. You will choose what test you want to do first. So step on to the circle of what you want to do first. Warning to you all the circle will close once it is filled and you will have to choose another test to take first. When you are done with all your tests you will receive your results as soon as you exit the testing room or in it for the Fighting and magic tests. For the knowledge and alchemy test, you will have as much time as you need to complete it. I think that is all I have to say for now so I will let you be of" She finishes and exits the stage me and my sister look at each other.
" So where do we want to go first," I asked
