Chapter 17

After saying goodnight to my sister and Rin, Len and I changed clothes and went off to sleep. It was surprisingly comfortable sleeping on the bed the sleeping furs were made out of high-quality monster fur and was warm and comfy.

I awoke the next morning around 8 in the morning based on the time crystal. I noticed that Len was not awake yet so I quietly tried my hair back into a ponytail changed into a white shirt with a black vest with silver trimming on over it and a pair of black pants and left the room. I walked down to the kitchen and decided to cook some breakfast. In the ice chest, I found some beef and decided to cook with that after thinking for a bit of what I was going to make I decided on cutting the beef into 4 steaks and getting out some eggs and potatoes. I heated up the grill and after waiting bit placed the steaks onto the grill. After cooking them till about medium rare I took them off to sit and in the oil that I cooked the steaks I cooked the potatoes after I thinly sliced them , It only took a few minutes to cook them but in the few minutes I took out a four plates, and after the potatoes were down I placed them on to the plates evenly then the steaks then I fired up the eggs 2 eggs per plate and set everything out on the table turned off the fire and evaporated the grill that I used.

I then yelled up the stairs "everyone breakfast is ready!"

I hear a few crashes coming from upstairs as I sat down to begin eating and after a few seconds I see Len fling down the stairs in his raven form and as soon as he reached the end of the stairs he transformed in to his raven-demi form wearing a black shirt and pants and walked over to the table to eat.

"Morning Haro," he says after sitting down. Next, I see Halo and Rin coming down the stairs, Halo was wearing a nice shirt with a frilly collar and a black skirt with black knee-high stockings, Rin was wearing a plain white dress with pale green trimming.

"Morning Haro and thanks for the food," My sister says quickly as she sits down to eat. I had almost finished eating by this time.

"I hope you all enjoy the food I will be back in a bit, I want to explore the house a bit before we go out," I say happily. I notice Len shoveling down the rest of his food into his mouth and rises.

"I'm coming with you Haro," Len says with a smirk on his face and transforms into his raven form.

"Okay then let's get going, see you, girls, later," I say with a smile and head upstairs. When I went upstairs I checked out the room that neither my sister or I chose to take as our room I went in to it and there were two rectangles beds on each side of the room they had some weird cloth on them that I had to presume was the bed sheets that others had told me about. At the top of the room, there was a skylight giving the room its light during the day at the end of the room was a wardrobe with drawers in it. Other than those few things there was not really that much stuff of interest. The only other room on the floor was my sisters but due to my wish to continue living, I stayed out of it.

I then went downstairs to see that my sister and Rin were chatting as they were slowly eating their food. Ren and I went past them as we went into the room to the of to the side of the dining room/living room/ kitchen that were all openly connected through the door I found a somewhat large room with mats for the floor. I looked around a bit more and found that there was a lot of different training equipment scattered around the room that looked appropriate for both weapon training and bare fist fighting. There was also another door at the end of the room. I noticed that on this door there was some magic that had been cast on it to prevent it from being destroyed and also to not let sounds from inside that room out.

I approach the door cautiously and tried to scan the room. I noticed that the room had two-dimensional pathways one of them was to the dimension that we were currently on which just seemed to be a normal room with a few things in it. The second path leads to a room that seemed to be in a different dimension and it could only be opened from what seemed to be either Halo, Rin, Len or my own mana signatures.

I started with going to the room in the current dimension it seemed to be a library with numerous books in large wooden bookshelves. The books seemed to have a variety of different topics. I closed the door and this time injected magic into the door. What I saw as I opened it was a large staircase down. Len and I looked at each other and nodded. We went down the stairs into the darkness below.
