Riley quietly packed her bags as she tried to remember the last time she even spoke to Charlie, her and Bella's father, on the phone, let alone seen him face to face. She wanted to throw a tantrum, anything to get out of going to live with Charlie while their mother got to travel with her new husband. It upset her even more that is was Bella's idea to let this happen without even asking Riley if she would be okay with it. They both knew Riley would never have been on board with this idea, that's probably why Bella went behind her back in the first place.
"Bella, why do we have to live with Charlie? After all these years do we have to see him now?" Riley asked a bit harshly as she forced the zipper closed on her suitcase. Bella knew how this was going to effect Riley but she knew it would be best for everyone in the end, even if Riley didn't see it the same way.
"Riley don't start. You are going to be on your best behavior when we get there, this is for Mom and Phil, keep that in mind," Bella begged her younger sister as she left the room they shared since their mom ran away with them when Riley was just a baby. Riley didn't follow her right away, she stood still taking in these last moments in her childhood room. She would do anything to just stay behind but, even though she didn't admit it, she saw Bella's point of it all. That was Bella though, always worrying about others before even thinking of herself.
Riley took a deep breath as her hand wrapped around the door handle to the room, taking one last look, she closed the door behind her.
