"Aren't you the one who picked up the ball for me this morning, right?" She asked.

"Yes," I responded simply.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome," I responded casually before turning my attention back to my soul pager.

"Which school do you attend?"

Hn (— — ꐦ)

I expressed a displeased groan before facing her once again, "I am so busy. Don't bother me!" I said before turning back my attention to the soul pager.

"Do you play football?" She asked again.

"Maybe," I answered lazily.

She's so persistent. (— — )

"We had a football game. Would you like to join us?" She asked again that I didn't bother to answer her nor glanced at her.

Just like I had said, I'm busy.

And just look at this message she had sent to me. (— — )

"Captain, if you still love us and care about us, go home. We have nothing to eat. We're dying."

But with an emoticon that looks like she's having fun than being depressed about it.

She dared to tell me to go back sooner. (— — )

That was it. She didn't even give me a valid reason why I would do that. (— — ꐦ)

Well, she could at least construct a good excuse, then maybe I'll be sprinting my way to the soul society if she made a good one. I'm not that hard to talk to.  (— — )

I can hear those children talking about me, with the classic "weird because of his hair color looks unusual thing" like it never gets old in my book.

So instead of getting annoyed for literally hearing them talking about me, I choose to ignore them.

I pressed the exit button of the soul pager to leave the message on hang for now since I haven't come up with a good scolding to her to respond to her last message.

Then I went to the map application to locate if there is an appearance of hollow or arrancar throughout the area.

"What's more, can that shorty play football?"

These kids. (— — ꐦ)

"What were you saying? Who are you calling dwarf?!" I asked, interrupting them in their short meeting, debating if they'll let me join their team.

The girl turns with the smug look on her face. "No one mentions shorty," she says simply.

I flipped my soul pager to close it. Might as well leave this place since they won't do it. I needed a more peaceful atmosphere to concentrate.

And without warning, I sensed it.

I kicked the ball back at them simply, but I don't intend to hit the kid in the face—sort of. (— — ٥)

I dusted off my pants after that. These kids won't leave me alone, won't they? (— — メ)

"Super dope!"

"Awesome!"

"Terrific!"

"What school did you go to?"

"What's your name?"

But I also don't intend to impress them with just a kick. I only responded with an impulse and instinct, not the opposite. (— — ٥)
