Please read A/N at end and enjoy the super long, well deserved chapter :))

Aubrianna stood by her brother's side as she looked through the telescope, passing it down the line to him. He quickly examined the land mass before him, passing it on to the captain. "The lone islands, that port of narrow-haven." The king's brow furrowed, casting a long side glance at his sister. "Strange, not a Narnia flag in sight." The captain passed along the telescope to Edmund, who looked to the older man in confusion. "But the Lone Island's have always been Narnia's." He brought the tele to eye-level, scanning the island. "Seems suspicious." Aubrey nodded along to the captain's words, just as Edmund spoke.

"I say we prepare a landing party, Drinian?" Caspian and Aubrianna cast each other weary glances, knowing what was to come from the Lord's mouth next. "Forgive me your majesty, but the chain of command starts with King Caspian and Queen Aubrianna on the ship." An annoyed look cast upon the high king's face for a mere second before he swallowed, his Adam's apple bobbing- "Right."

Aubrianna cleared her throat, intervening. "We'll use long boats. Drinian- pick some men and come ashore. Alright- Tavros?" With that, the minotaur began shouting out orders to the crew, as the siblings turned away from the railing.

.

Two boats rowed to shore, Caspian, Edmund and Aubrianna stationed at the front with Lucy and Eustace at the back. Reepicheep also accompanied the group. "Onward! The thrill of the unknown, lies ahead." The knight jumped down onto the stone-paved path just as the side poked the boat. The group docked, and Caspian helped his sister out just as Eustace protested. "Couldn't this wait until morning?" A look of clear repulsion strewn upon his features. Aubrianna, staring down at the mouse in front of her watches as he turns, facing the English boy. "There is no honor in turning away from adventure, lad." Lucy quickly cut in as her cousin huffed. "Listen- where is everyone?"

The island was unusually silent, and the king laid his hand upon his sword handle as he stalked up the stairs. "Come on, jelly legs." The mouse hissed at the boy climbing out of the long boat.

Eustace glad at the hand that was held out to him, "I'm capable of doing it myself." His foot caught, and the boy fell- hard, upon the stone surface. Caspian, as well as Reepicheep, sighed glancing between the two younger siblings as Aubrianna spoke up before he could, "And you're certain he's related by blood?"Caspian finished climbing the stairs, quickly grabbing the crossbow that was strung across his back. The other's joined him, hands ready to grab for their weapons as loud dongs sounded throughout the island- the bell tower had rung.
Caspian raised his crossbow, watching as birds flew from the tower. He lowered it, walking toward the other king and queens.

"Reepicheep, stay here with Drinian's men and secure the place, we'll head on. If we don't come back by dawn, send a party." With that, the five headed off up an inclined, flat, path. "Yes your majesty."

.

The town around them was wearily silent, the only sound to be heard was the wind swaying the trees. The group walked toward a large build, exclude Eustace whom was peeking into boarded up houses. Just as the group reached the doors, Eustace finished looking into a particular one and came bounding over. "Yeah, look's like nobody's in so do you think we should head back?" The four gave him odd glances. The queen snickered as Edmund spoke, an odd look on his face. "Do you want to come here and guard.. something?" Caspian turned and gave a look, then glanced back at Aubrey who looked like she was trying so hard to hold in a snort.

"Ah yes, good idea cousin. Very um- uh logical." He ran over, stopping feet away from the other four. They all stopped, looked to Eustace, then glanced at Caspian's small dagger. He walked over, snatching it from his sheath, and handed it to the boy. Eustace blinked repeatedly, looking back to the group as they entered the run-down building. "Ive got it, I've got it. Don't worry."

------

The building contained many towering, odd statues, and large bells hanging from the ceiling. Caspian and Aubrianna tailed the two that were infant of them, crossbow and sword poised to strike when ready. The roof of the building had many missing boards of wood as scattered sunlight seeped through the openings. Eustace's quivering voice sounded out, "Uh-I'm ready to go when you are." Edmund shined his torch on a stand, a book seemingly open upon the surface. The group stepped up, looking down on the scribbled pages.

Aubrey's eyes scanned over countless names, most scratched out, columns of numbers and names neatly aligned along the pages. "Who are all these people?" Her head snapped to the youngest Pevensie. Could she really not know? "Why have they been crossed out?" She nudged Caspian, giving him and incredulous look. "Looks like some kind of, fee." The queen wanted to question the two on their knowledge of slavery when her brother spoke, "Slave traders."

As he spoke, the bell above them rang, Edmund's torch flashing upward, catching sight of men slipping down the rope's dangling from the bells. They were gravely outnumbered. "Look out!"

Caspian shot at one man swinging down, causing him to collapse as an arrow struck him. Aubrianna bared her teeth at a man approaching her, sword swinging at flesh. She stuck close to Lucy, and was pleased to see the girl handling herself quite well. Aubrianna blocked one man trying to swing at her, and kicked another back, slicing the leg of the first burley man. Just as the queen went to swing once more, a high-pitched scream caused her to stop, turning toward the entrance in a sharp manor.

There, held hostage with a knife at his neck, was Eustace, a man dressed in robes behind him. Aubrianna wanted to off in annoyance and scold the boy, but also roll her eyes at their stupidity to leave him alone.

"Unless you want to 'hear this one squeal like a girl again, I'd say you should drop your weapons." Eustace's face quickly twisted to one of disgust. "I'm not a girl." The man cut him off- "Now!" The four angrily slammed their weapons down, "Put it down," Caspian being the last one to do so. "Eustace." Edmund spat at his cousin with venom, angered at the cowardly English boy.

"Put them in iron!"The men quickly seized forward, slamming cuffs down on the wrists of the five. "Get your hands off me!" The protest began, Aubrianna wringing in the hold on two men. "Let's take these three to market. Send those two to the dungeons." At the sight of his sister being handled by two imbeciles, Caspian felt his heart surge with panic.

"Listen to me you insolent fool, I am your king!" The man holding a writhing Edmund reared back, striking him across the face, as Aubrianna stamped on one man's foot. "You're gonna pay for that."

The high king turned back, glaring as a man with shoulder-length hair walked out of the shadows. "Actually, someone else is going to pay..for all of you."

With that, the men began dragging the two girls. accompanied by Eustace, out the door. "No, Edmund!" As the high queen screamed for her brother, Aubrey yelled for her own. "Caspian! Caspian, no!" Her eyes went wide, a panic she hadn't felt in a long time filling her. "Lucy! Aubrianna!"
