Lucy, Eustace and Aubrianna had been chained to a wall by shackles and had been sitting for an unknown amount of time when a cart went by holding screaming citizens. One woman leaned over the edge, shouting for her husband and daughter. She caught the man's hand in her own until he was pushed off by a guard. "Get back!" He was punched in the face, and fell to the ground. "Mommy!" The young girl in a light purple dress ran up to her father. "Stay with daddy." The man looked up in a panic as his wife was carted away. "Don't worry- I'll find you!"
Aubrianna watched Lucy bury her head into her hands, as they couldn't see the cart anymore, but could still hear shouts of fear.
-
Aubrianna had been sold already to an older man who bought her for 850, and now it was Lucy's turn. The man holding on to her seemed to be undressing the queen with his eyes as she glared and scoffed at him.
While she stood around she noticed various men in the crowd wearing long woven coats with hoods. She recognized those coats.
"I bid 60!" "I bid 80!" "100 for the little lady!" Aubrey glared at the disgusting man whom had a sickening grin adorned on his face. "120." "150!" The queen caught the eye of some young girls who stood nearby, watching from a corner. She smiled at them in sympathy, glad it was her rather than them. "Any more bids?" Most of the men huffed in displeasure as a large 'SOLD' sign was placed around Lucy's neck. "Sold!" The young monarch gave a shout as she was grabbed around the shoulders and pulled away.
Eustace was the brought up to the slab. "And now for this fine specimen. Who'll kick off the bidding?" Grumbles of displeasure rippled throughout the crowd as all the men silenced. "Come on now, he may not look like much but uh- he's strong." The man squeezed Eustace's arm. 'Yeah he's strong alright, smells like the rear end of a minotaur." The men laughed and Aubrianna let a smirk slip onto her face before the boy spoke.
"That is an outrageous lie! I won the school hygiene award- two years running." Men laughed as the man bidding rose his brows at Eustace. "Come on- someone make a bid!" A man wearing a navy blue coat stepped forward. "Ill take them off your hands, I'll take them all off your hands!" That voice..
Suddenly the hood was ripped down, along with the others, and Reepicheep was revealed to be perched on the shoulder of Lord Drinian. "For Narnia!" The rest of the men joined in as a fight broke out. Aubrianna turned to elbow the man holding her in the face, and succeeded well, just before a slave trader grabbed her by her waist from behind, due to her still being in shackles, she could only kick and shout as he dragged her along. She looked around for anyone that could help her and caught sight of her brother who seemed to be unlocking his own chains. Aubrianna bit the hand that was covering her mouth and quickly squirmed. "Caspian! Caspian!"
The king's head turned, catching sight of his sister a he grabbed onto a rope that was hanging on the deck he was at, and sang down, kicking the man away from Aubrianna and through a wooden wall. "Are you ok?" She nodded at his question, before he handed her the keys, draping down to where the man had laded, and backslapping him.
She rushed down the mass crowd of fighting Narnian's and slave traders and helped Lucy fend off a man wearing a woven scarf. Soon, the fight was easily won by the Narnian's, as islanders began locking away the slave traders. The group gathered, and began walking back to the shore as cheering islanders aligned the street. Aubrianna smiled at some young girls, and a voice frantically rang out. "Your majesty, Your majesty!" Ed, Caspian and Lucy all grabbed for their weapons while Drinian grabbed the man and Aubrianna pursed her lips at her brother. "My wife was taken just this morning." His daughter called for him behind him.
Recognizing the man, Aubrianna put her hands out. "It's alright Drinian, let him go." He smiled gratefully at her before casting his gaze on her and Caspian. "I beg of you to take me with you." Caspian nodded at the man. His daughter quickly objected. "Daddy, I want to come!" She pulled his arm toward her, but he pushed her back. No Gale, stay with your aunt." She let go, standing back as Aubrianna sent her a wave. "I'm a fine sailor, been on the seas my whole life." Caspian looked at Aubrey, who smiled. "Course, you must." He patted his back and walked forward.
"Thank you." Aubrianna stalked off with her brother, but looked back to see the man hug his daughter.

"My king, my queen!" The group of Narnian's had made it to the beach- cheering crowds still following as a man stood on the beach, shouting. He looked old, quite scraggly, and shaking on his feet, but well dressed. They group approached the man. "This was given to me by your father, I hid it safely in a cave all these years." Aubrey saw Edmund's eyes bugle slightly. "That's old Narnia sword." The man held it up to Caspian and Aubrianna. "It's from your golden age. There are seven such swords. Gifts from Aslan to protect Narnia- your father entrusted them to us. Here- take it." The barnacle sword was raised out to the two. "And may it protect you.
Caspian grasped each end of the sword, holding the hilt in his hand as islanders cheered and clapped. "Thank you, my Lord. And we shall find your lost citizens." Aubrianna smiled at at man, nodding for the group to continue walking to the awaiting boats. Caspian stopped, glancing at the high king beside him.
"Edmund." He held the sword out to younger boy, who grabbed the hilt. Caspian patted him on the back before following after his sister who stared back at him with pride. "I'm proud of you. It may not seem like much but I'm pretty sure it mattered to him." She nodded her head towards the high king who he'd the sword up and stared in awe.
Quite proud of myself for that :) Just over 1K words. I have had absolutely no time to myself whatsoever. I joined my school's soccer team, so I either have a game or practice Mon-Fri. Then I also play soccer for a recreational association so I'll have double soccer on Monday's (I have practice for rec along with practice or game for the school) and games for rec on Saturday's. I play U16 and I've also been asked by the director of the league to guest play until further notice on my sister's U19 team. They practice at the same time as my u16 team so i'l just be skipping those practices but now I'll have double rec games on Saturday's. So basically the only free time I have is Sunday's, on which I'm doing chores and laundry all day. I only wrote this because my school closed because of snow,, so enjoy :)) update when I can, xo --comment if you read that? :)
