A Big Secret

I screamed as someone took me away from mommy and daddy. I was so scared! What are they going to do to me? What if they kill me? I really hope they don't! I'm only 6 years old!

I was sent to the back of a store nearby the Woodland Palace, and we stopped. The person turned around and I gasped as I saw who it was. It was...

*meanwhile* Aunt Jesse's POV

Me, Feona, and Juliana scrambled to where Lukas and Petra were using the amulet. We had no idea what was going on, but it was something aweful I can tell. Soon, we saw them outside, Petra crying and leaning against Lukas' shoulder. We ran to them, worry probably written on our faces.

"What happened? Where's Jessica?" I asked, realizing that Jessica wasn't with them.

"We were just about to enter the palace when someone grabbed Jessica and took her away!" Lukas says, on the verge of tears himself. "We have no idea where she went and where the person who took her went."

"Oh no! That's awful!" Feona says, coming up to Petra and gives her a hug. "We got to find her soon!"

"How do we start looking? This has never happened to us before!" Juliana says, rubbing both Lukas and Petra's backs.

"I don't know, but we got to warn the others about this!" I say, getting out the amulet again. "Axel and Olivia have a amulet necklace that glows when someone is in trouble. You guys have it too." I say, indicating Lukas and Petra. "Come on!"

Soon, the amulet necklace glowed for Petra and Lukas as Jesse made the actual amulet glow, indicating that something is wrong.

"That should get their attention immediately!" I say, putting the amulet away. "Now we just need to wait for them to get here so we can discuss what to do about Jessica."

Uncle Axel's POV

Me and Olivia were just looking around, about to go in another room, when suddenly the amulet necklaces that me and Olivia have started to glow. We both jumped as they glowed.

"Axel! That means something's wrong! We got to go!" Olivia said, pulling me towards the entrance to the Woodland Palace.

"Aw man! I really wanted to see the other things in this place!" I say reluctantly.

"Well, being the Order of the Stone is more important than this place. We got to go!"

Olivia pulled me out of the room we were in and headed towards the entrance.

My POV

It was Kaylie! With my baby brother! What is she doing here? She is supposed to be at home taking care of Samuel!

"Kaylie?!" I cry, standing back as she came near me.  "What are you doing here? You are supposed to be at home, keeping my baby brother safe!"

"I'm sorry Jessica that it has to be this way, but I didn't know how to tell you any other way," she explains.

"What do you want to tell me that you had to kidnap me from mommy and daddy?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"Rueben! Come here boy!" She says, calling behind me. "Jessica is here!"

I saw a pig run towards me, and I gasped. Rueben? As in Aunt Jesse's Rueben? Isn't he dead? I don't understand!

"Rueben? As in Jesse, Feona, and Juliana's pig? Isn't he dead?" I ask, awestruck.

"Well... he came back!" Kaylie says, petting Rueben. "But there is one you need to do. You cannot tell Jesse, Feona, and Juliana!"

"What! I can not keep that big of a secret from my aunts!" I say, tears starting to go down my cheeks. "How can I keep such a big secret from them?"

"I don't know, but you will have to," Kaylie says, grabbing Rueben by the leash. "I will have him at my house if you want to visit him while we wait for a good time to bring him back."

"Okay," I say, wiping my tears. "I will try my best to keep the secret."

"Make sure to not let it slip okay? I want to tell them that he is back in a few days. For now, do not say anything."

"Okay, can I go back to mommy and daddy?" I ask, my eyes watering again because I knew that they would be worried about me.

"Yes you can," she says, giving me a hug. "You can just tell them that it was me who got you. For why, just say that I wanted to talk to you about how to be a big sister to Samuel."

"Okay, see you later," I say, starting to walk away. "And bye Samuel!"

I ran away towards the Woodland palace, tears still going down my cheeks. How can I keep such a big secret from Aunt Jesse, Feona, and Juliana? I don't think I can keep it for that long! What if it slips? How will they react when the time comes to tell them? I have so many worries and questions, but they will be answered soon I bet. Now I got to go back to mommy and daddy before they call the police on me for being missing.

Daddy's POV

Me, Petra, and the rest of the Order of the Stone (including Feona and Juliana) were frantically looking for Jessica. We are so worried about her. What if she was killed? That would be so bad! I hope she isn't dead! Soon, we heard footsteps and we are took out our swords, ready to fight. Soon, Jessica came around the corner of the building, tears steaming down her face.

"Jessica!" Petra cried, running to her and giving her a big hug. "Where have you been? Who took you? Was it someone we know?"

"Mommy I'm okay," she says, wiping her tears. "It was Kaylie who took me. She just wanted to give me some tips on how to be a big sister for Samuel."

"Well, at least you are safe," Petra says. "Let's go home. I am done with today!"

"Good idea," I say as we went back home.
