Jessica loves the ukulele it's adorable when she sings along. We arrived late so I play until she falls asleep I then carry her to her room. After that all of us "Big kids" sit down on the couches while I play songs like "Story of my life" and "Pompeii" Patrick finds it funny how well I can play, what can I say it's fun. As I finish playing chicken fried by Zac Brown my dad says it's the perfect time to tell me my 2nd surprise this one being just for me I forgot all about the other surprise. He says and I quote " You have been asked to attend Shattuck St.Mary's boarding school for hockey next year." I'm crying I'm so happy I have 3 goals in life
1. To attend a boarding school for hockey
2. To go to University of Minnesota with a scholarship
3. To play for team Canada
I'm 15 and one has just come true. After everyone congratulates me we all head to bed. I still can't Beleive it wow Shattuck-St. Mary's the same place Maggie Connors went to Maggie Connors the 3 time gold medalist for team Canada. Maggie Connors who I am going to meet at Atlantics next year cause she is from Newfoundland and is going to be part of the opening ceremonies,while I think all of these thoughts I slowly drift off to sleep.
~The Next Day~
I wake up to Puck licking my face and Jessica and Alex on the foot of my bed yelling "ITS BREAKFAST TIME MADS" I get up and head to the table only to find that I'm expected to make breakfast Pat claims it's to help me for next year when I'm living with just me and a roommate, although I'm fully aware it's just his excuse of making me make him and everyone breakfast so he doesn't have to. I make Pat ,myself, Johnny and my Dad omelettes and make Sarah, Alex and Jessica chocolate chip pancakes. Amanda is at work so I didn't need to make her any food. When I'm done making and eating breakfast I decide to check my phone only to see I have 2 missed calls from Brandon and 1 voice mail from him too. I check the voice ail only to hear " Hiiiiiiiiii Maaaaddlllyyynnnn iiitttssss Maaaaadddddlllllyyyynnn." Brandon named is two year old daughter after me☺️ considering he helped take care of me when he was younger, his explanation was I'm family which was pretty true everyone who was on the Blackhawks from 2010-2018 was pretty much my family the main people being Johnny, Pat, Brandon, Shawzer and of course Adam Burish we're is actually were my brother got his name from. I decided to call Brandon back and Madlyn picked up I can't wait to meet her I've talked to her but I've never met her in person after all she is only 3 and I haven't seen Brandon in 5 years.
M/B: Hiiiiiii
M: Hey Madelyn is daddy there
B: I'm here
M: Hi
B: What's new
M: Well......
B: We'll what?
M: Ummm......
B: Ummmm.....what?
M: Your gonna have to wait
B: Wow typical well I g2g to the UC now game 3 of the playoffs pumped so byeee
M: Byeee Sad
Oh that's another thing I call Brandon, Sad sometimes just to get on his nerves anyways when I get of the phone I check my Instagram only to find a picture of me sleeping posted by Alex.
