Chapter 1|Something Bad

Jenna's POV-

I wake up to the sound of a beeping alarm. I wake up and look at my clock reading 7:00.

crap. I set my alarm late. I hurry and run out of bed and to my bathroom, I hurry and do my normal routine: brush my teeth, wash my face with my clean & clear acne wash and apply my mascara and baby lips.I look in the mirror and make a disgusted my face at this messy glob I call hair. I wet it a little and brush it out.

I hurry out of the bathroom and look for something to wear, I settle for my high waisted jeans and my fries before guys shirt. I look in the mirror and settle for what I see. I grab my black converse and slip them on reading the clock reading 7:37. I hurry and grab my phone and my bag running out of my room and downstairs. I text my friend Brandon seeing where he is:

Me: hey bestie where u at?

Brandon: hey boo about to walk out. meet at nessa's?

Me: hurry upppp. and kk I'll text her

NEW CONVO

Me: bae me and Brandon are coming over so we can walk you ready?

Nessa: yeah come on I was about to leave but I'll wait for you love but tell Brandon he better not be stinky in my house

Me: lol kk see you soon sweetie

Nessa: mmkay

"Mom I'm leaving!" I yelled.

"Okay sweetie have a good day and remember boys are icky!" she yelled back.

I laughed silently at her, she always was a weird one.

I walked out the door and made my way to Nessa's house, I walked in screaming "THE PARTY DONT START TELL I WALK IN!"

She laughed at me while her brother walked by whispering "Weirdo."

I just laughed and hugged her.

"Hi sweetie!" Nessa said

" What's Gucci bud?"

She looked at me with a straight face and said "Dont ever say that again."

"What why?"

"Please for your own good love I'm only looking after you. We don't won't people to bully little Jenny now do we."

I stuck my tongue out at her and she laughed.

We heard the door bell ring and she grabbed her bag while I opened the door revealing a tired Brandon. Nessa came to the door and said "Woah you look awful"

He replied with " Look who's talking."

She gave him the evil eye and I just stood there awkwardly before speaking up " Um guys we kind of have school."

We started walking and Brandon kept talking about our summer plans. We had decided that we would go visit my brother in Florida and Brandon's sister in North Carolina but I wasn't really listening, I had this feeling inside of me that something bad was going to happen and no matter what I did I couldn't shake it.
