Sun Ce x Reader Modern AU!

 A/N; Please refrain from playing the song until you see this; (*MUSIC*). I hope you enjoy this, the song above is one of my favorite songs in existence. I hope you love it too.

             It was raining cats and dogs outside, and hard. Living in a two bedroom apartment alone is quite, boring per say. You have many friends yes, but they all have somewhere to stay. You have a few female friends like Wang Yuanji(of course duh), Lianshi, Sun Shangxiang, the Qiao sisters, Cai Wenji, Xingcai, Yueying, Wang Yi, and Guan Yinping. You had way more male friends of course though like Lu Xun, Sima Zhao, Sima Shi, Liu Shan, Sun Quan, Zhou Yu, Gan Ning, Ling Tong, Ma Dai, Guo Jia, Guan Xing, Xiahou Ba, Wen Yan, Yue Jin, Li Dian, Zhang He, Zhang Bao, Xu Shu, Zhu Ran, and Sun Ce. Though you're friends were always split in three groups they tolerated with each other, of course only in front of you. You were very close to all of your friends of course but you were very close to Sun Ce. He always made you laugh and his determination to do anything is absolutely inspiring, though he does get a little loud.

        (Y/N) P.O.V

      As I drove to Sun Ce's house to pick him up for 'Friday Fry and Movie Night', I went to go check on Zhou Yu to see if he would like to come. Zhou Yu and Sun Ce have been best friends for as long as I can remember, sure me and Sun Ce were close but we weren't as close as him and Zhou Yu. I parked my car and walked up to his house, I advanced up the steps and knocked on the door, seconds after Zhou Yu opens,"Hello? Ah, (Y/N) what brings you here?"

   "I'm just here to ask if you would like to join our 'Friday Fry and Movie night'. Would you like to join me and Ce?" a little part of me hoped he said no thank you. I really like these nights, I would be lying if I said I didn't have feeling for the brute. A kind soul that one, smart too. Well not too smart, kind nonetheless.

    "Aren't those nights just for you and Ce? You too seem to be very close every time you participate in this event." Us closer than him and Zhou Yu? No, that isn't true they've known each other longer, they're both men might I add.

    "Well yes, but I wanted to ask if you would like to join us. So is that a yes or no?"

   "Well-I'll tell you a secret-Sun Ce tells me not to come every time you ask when it's only supposed to be you two. Why you ask? Because he loves spending alone time with you (Y/N), besides I'd only be a third wheel. So I'm sorry but I'm going to have to decline this invitation, of course you now know why." So Sun Ce likes to spend alone time with me, that's a relief. I thought he only put up with these nights just to make me happy, guess not right. Before I could respond he waved me goodbye and closed the door. He must have known I was surprised and wanted to leave me to think. Wow. I started driving once more to Sun Ce's house and parked out side and texted him,

    'I'm outside grab some extra snacks so we don't run out. :)'

    'Aight, I'm on my way definitely grabbing some oreos! :D'

   I put my phone down and waited, about 10 minutes later he came running outside with a container of oreos and one in his mouth. What a cute idiot, yup I'm smitten,"Nice, I'm surprised you didn't eat all the oreos at once this time! IMPRESSIVE NOVICE."

He laughed and climbed in,"Puh-lease! You should be the novice, you have many things to learn in the art of food. Now let's go get some FRIES!" I laughed and started the car and drove to the best fry place in town, we then went back to my house. We binged ate fries, oreos and watched chick-flicks.

   'I can't believe you didn't invite me to the mall with you Jennifer! Instead you invite Becky?! First you sleep with Brandon, then you ignore me? UGH.'

   Ce gasped and started talking in a valley girl voice,"Omg, I like cannot believe Jennifer is such a two-face! It was like her sleeping with Britney's boyfriend wasn't enough to prove that she a THOT."

    "CE! I-I C-CAN'T BREA-AT-THE!" he was super funny yet charming at the same time. It's not everyday you meet someone as breathtaking as him. He smiled and hugged me, I could get used to this.

    "Ah, after this movie I'd like to show you something." he looked over at me.

   "Anything you'd like." it seems those three words made him just a bit happier and we cuddled closer together. After the flick was over he took my car and drove to the top of a starry eyed hill, it was night by now. He found a spot and parked, he turned on the radio and 'Can't Help Falling In Love' by TOP.

(*MUSIC*)

  "Would you like to dance with me, my lady?" hearing him calling me my lady made my cheeks go red, he probably noticed too. How embarrassing.

  "Uh, s-sure Ce. I'd l-love to." stupid stuttering.

    We both got into positions, my hands on his shoulders and his on my waist. We were both dancing to the tune of the melody. I started singing and he joined, though we weren't the best we both sounded great together. One word to describe this was magical, it might sound cliche but it was wonderful. It was like a fairy tale coming to life, like the movie 'The Beauty and the Beast'. Though he was a beast he was beautiful, a very beautiful creature in my eyes. Nothing can make me upset at this very moment because at this moment I just fell deeper in love with the man in front of me. I felt as though this song was explaining the situation, I couldn't help falling in love. No matter how much I tried to fall out, I was only falling in deeper and deeper. It might be selfish for me to love you this much, but I can't help it. I won't rush it, I won't fight it. I'll happily accept it.

     "(Y/N)?" a hum was my response,"Are you enjoying yourself?"

     "Yes, why do you ask?"

     "Can I-Can I say something? If I say it, will it change our friendship?"

     "Ce-you know I'll always have your back, what's with this all of a sudden?"

    "W-Well, (Y/N) I've always had strong feelings for you, but they're stronger and wanting more than friendship."My eyes widen, is he going to say what I think he is going to say? Should I even get my hopes up?"Well what I'm trying to say is, I love you like a lot. Yup that's it, big surprise right?"

   I swear I almost started to cry, the feelings mutual. I wanted to scream it, the feelings mutual! When I almost didn't say anything he started to pull away and retreat, I grabbed his sleeve,"Are seriously going to leave me hanging like that? I didn't even get a chance to respond." At this he stopped and turned around, I searched his eyes they screamed hope and love."I love you too, you idiot. Now don't go walking out on me, please."

    "Never, not again I swear it." I smiled, we stared longingly at each other finally all feelings are unlocked and spreading through the air. We kissed, it was electric. It was like I was a piece of metal and he was a magnet, he attracted me to him. We walked back to the car hand in hand, we've come a long way. Friends to best friends to lovers, amazing isn't it? How some connection can grow over time and prosper. To bloom into a gorgeous eternal flower, true relationships never die. I love him and he loves me, that is the most simple way to put it. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Love is the true key to happiness whether it is to love or to be loved.

Epilogue;

    The announcement for our newly advanced relationship was a little, wild. Sun Ce just put me on his back and said,"See this? Yeah this is mine now." Then his just ran away with me on his back, while the group was dumbfounded and Zhou Yu being the Wingman he his shouts his words of blessing and encouragment. He's such a dork, but that's why I love him so much.

A/N; HOLY SO I WROTE THIS IN LIKE 2 HOURS AND ITS LIKE GOOD???? It's about 1500 words and has lots of detail, at least that's what I think. I might as well post it now though and start another, OOF. DO YOU KNO DA WAE MY BRUDDAHS?
