          Fighting. War. It scares me a little bit just at the thought, being raised by a fierce warrior but still being a frail child is a little disheartening. My father taught me how to use weapons since I was 7 yrs of age. My father was a strict but loving man, sometimes I made him mad though. I'd always get something wrong, but it was still an honor to have a warrior as a father. I grew up and joined the Shu army and picked (Y/F/W) to use to defend myself with. I'd usually be on the defensive not the offensive, I'm scared of war but I will do anything to bring piece to China and to myself.

    "So do you have any love interests (Y/N)?" Bao Sanniang asked, she was the beloved of Guan Suo. If I had to be honest Guan Suo walks like a little gay man to me, but I'd never say it to her face.

   "L-Love interests!? Why would you think I have l-love interests?"

  "Oh (Y/N) everyone has a love interest!"

 "Yinping doesn't."

  "That's just her though since she's related to nearly everyone here. You can't say Xingcai because she either likes Liu Shan or Guan Ping. What about you? Hm? HM?" Alright she got me there, but I have a feeling she'll say Guan Xing. We are both pretty close, but I have a itty bitty crush on Xu Shu. Of course I wouldn't tell anyone, you might say I'm a bit shy.

   "W-Well, I don't r-really have any l-love interests that are c-certain at the moment..."

   "So you have crush on someone!? Oh this is wonderful! Now you can get married like me! Is it someone I know?! Oh, tell me! Wait, wait let me guess." Classic Sanniang, always jumping to conclusions and so perky. Marriage is probably out of the question, I don't know if he likes me back...

  "M-Marriage!? I'm not ready for marriage, besides I don't even know if he loves me back a-anyway."

   "Not ready for marriage huh? Hmm, well everyone loves you! Your pretty and smart, but a little self-conscious. You are super shy... AH! I know who you like! Is it Xu Shu!? Tell me it's Xu Shu!"

  "Y-You got me..." Soon enough she'll start squealing and jumping up and down, she had got it right."B-But promise me you won't t-tell anyone! Y-You know how I am..."

   "Of course, of course. Now if you'll excuse me-" she then started squealing and jumping up and down, called it. I started walking back to the palace, leaving the woman to bask in her glory at the moment. If I ever needed a place to calm down, it would be the palace garden. I was heading to the garden and found Liu Bei at the peach trees, I went to sit down next to him. He looked at me and smiled, I smiled back.

   "What troubles you (Y/N)? You usually come here to calm down your nerves, am I correct?" Liu Bei was a kind soul and reminded you of your deceased mother. Just at the thought of her tears prick the corners of my eyes.

   "I'm so confused, my lord how do you know when you're in love? I'm not so sure at the moment..."

   Liu Bei smiled with sympathy, he probably knew whom I was in love with as well,"Well, when your in love you never want to be away from you partner for a very long time. When you touch, it's electric and want more. I guess if you're in love, you'll do anything for your other. And by anything, I mean anything. They would risk their life for you. Protect you."

  "Is that how you feel about the Princess? Lady Shangxiang?" I like calling Lady Shangxiang Princess, I want to make her feel at home here. I know nearly all of Wu called her Princess, I want to try and be a part of her family. I usually go to her quarters and do some girl things with her, she enjoys it I can tell.

  "Of course, she's the love of my life. But it burdens me that I took her away from her home and brought her to some place different. It hurts me everyday." He had sorrow in his eyes and stared at the peach tree.

  "Thank you my lord, for the help. I shall repay you in battle and in the name of love!"It's strange, he is our commander and I don't feel the least bit shy around him. He's like a father figure to me, probably more than me original father. I got up and walked around the palace, exploring the already explored places.

  "M-My Lady!", I turned around and I saw Xu Shu, I could already tell me face was red by it's hotness.

  "Y-Yes Xu Shu? H-How can I h-help you?" Stutter. Stutter. All I could do was stutter around him.

  "W-Where are you heading to? I would be happy to escort you." he looked down, you smiled. You were definitely in love, you were so smitten. Even when he stuttered it was absolutely adorable, of course you would never tell him.

   "W-Well, I was just walking a-around the palace..." you mumbled the last part.

  "Well then I shall accompany you. I-If that's alright with you my lady..."

  "I'd like s-some company, thank you Xu Shu." We walked around a little making small talk, nothing big like war just the beautiful things in life. We both loosened up and had a couple of laughs. He took a hold of your hand and intertwined your finger while turning crimson. You held on and turned crimson as well, we looked at each other and smiled.

  "M-My lady? I want to t-tell you something..."

 "A-Anything Xu Shu..."

 "I might not be the b-best warrior out there or the best h-husband, but I promise to love you for times to come. P-Please let me love you for all of eternity, I want you by my side forever." He looked away, I swear I was about to break into tears. And I did, he looked over and started to panic,"W-Was it something I said? Did I d-do something wrong? I can fix it, p-please stop crying." He didn't know I was crying tears of joy, I can't believe he actually loves me! All this time I thought he didn't care at all, he did. He did!

   "I'm s-so happy...," I cried,"I never thought you would feel the same as I did, and now you do." He smiled and wiped away my tears, he quickly pecked my check and we both became flustered. We hugged for a long time, then walked around the garden for the rest of the day.

   I couldn't believe it the man I watched and loved from afar did the same to me. We loved and grew into a proper relationship, marriage didn't sound like such a bad option now. Sanniang was right, marriage was an amazing blessing that made you whole.

Epilogue;

  "See Suo! I told you they would get married! She looks so happy!"

  "They both look happy my lady, isn't it wonderful we got them together?"

  "Ah, it is! I'm so glad (Y/N) could find some happiness and escape her father."

  "Escape her father? What does that mean?"

  "Oops, eh Suo I swore not to tell anyone."

  "Tell anyone what?"

 "That her father-"
